Grats on 5.3

Pull the the memory oc and set back to 0. Bump GPU voltage at small increments until perf stops scaling on gt2.

Then walk mem up in 200mhz increments until you loose stability or get artifacts. At that point you can either try to add a little mem voltage or back the clock down -15

Check the psu to make sure it’s not struggling to deliver adequate power across all rails

Your hitting pl. if you go overboard perf is nurffed hard. LLC of 3 allowing what looks like more power but it’s really the same or less on account of hitting pl more frequently.

Sometimes you can ride the pl and get a little more out of the card. I would suggest llc0 and a Lieberenz GPUv

Hrm. soft reboot to train @ anything more than +50mv Vmem.  Have to try vmem v adjust on my KPE 3 times on FS GT2 or TS GT2 to know if the card will settle in. Also might just be anecdotal but samsung mem seems like certain clocks but not others. So maybe 1700 is not stable but 1680 and 1720 are.
 
I did alot of work around 1.5v for the Vmem training. This way I could go from 1.45v to 1.55v without rebooting.
 
Also there appears to be a point where TPL gets involved  if VMEM and Vcore are higher than card likes. Just speculation.
 
Its like back in the day. Max Stable GPU core over clock typically does not synergize with max stable memory overclock.
 
So its more like max stable GPU Clock @ what ever the peak of memory overclock stability is for a given GPU clock.  IE at 2120GPU Clock mem can probably OC higher than at 2200 GPU Core clock. ect.  If that makes anysense.

When I get my z390 dark in I'm hoping Ill get some more outta the CPU.

You may want to look in another direction to get more out of your CPU. That board will only loose you points. Return to sender if you can.

I am pretty sure I got every inch out of my KPE on the Z390 Dark @ ambient.
 
 
RMA'd that horrible Z390 Aorus Master I was using as a daily driver on account of it probably being screwed up since I purchased it. I just dealt with it cause I hate RMA'ing... Anyhooo The darn thing refused to stick to a bios. There are a couple of switches on it. 1 to enable/disable multi bios mode and 1 to select bios master/slave. Didn't matter if Multibios was enabled or disabled. It would randomly cold boot a different bios 3 out of 5 attempts. SO annoying...
 
Also in CPU Purgatory. Would be irresponsible to purchase 7980xe with Zen 2 around the corner. At least need to test a 3850x before deciding on Intel.
 
I am still dedicated to benching the 2700x with the KPE. Wify has plans for the entire weekend so UGH.

I have been testing out the second card I bought with plans of selling one. This card's GPU  is less stable at the same ambient temp, but the RAM of this card is ridiculous. It can run 8900MHz with artifacts and runs 8800 at 1.5v without any artifacts.I have been running it at 8750 @ 1.48125v without any sign of instability. Card 1 can only run 8500MHz @1.51v with some slight artifacts. Scores are about the same. I have not been close this week to getting 41,7-8xxx,s Graphics FS on either card. Without stable temps, like 30C, I don't think that I can definitively pick the better card. I assume card 2 would be the card to take for sub-ambient, IDK. GPU Offsets in PX1 are much lower on card 2. Temps are 68F in this room.

I know right...If I could swap out the memory or the GPU, Id be set. It took that 8800 to keep up with card 1 running 8350 and still could not best the score by a few hundred Graphics.

Send both cards to evga and tell them to swap the GPU chips between the cards! Hehe

I bet it might be easier to swap the mem chips.

I am running just the overclock bios. Most all of the testing was done with the regular bios until last night when I figured out why the pump and fan were not running as high as card 1. The card arrived in regular bios position.

Send that card to me and I'll switch the bios for you!

Could just use OBS. Super simple for multi-camera. I have multiple camera's and screen capture setup in my bench "lab."
