Currently using the Lian-Li DK-05F, but sometime next year I will be CNCing my own desk loosely based off the DK-05F. Its a good desk, but Lian-Li cut many corners. Super thin material with terrible tapped holes. Had about 7 strip during assembly.

Pondering one as to do away with a case sitting around and making for bad cable management. I'm planning on getting a large parrot in 2021, so I need to parrot proof my computer. Parrots like to chew on everything and everything within reach is a toy to them. Going to wall mount my Vizio 50" M-Series as the display and use a desk case to minimize the rest of the cabling under it.

Dude Incredible thinking nice looking rig. Definitely a game changer of rigs.
T hose who abuse power, are nothing but scumbags! The challenge of power is how to use it and not abuse it. The abuse of power that seems to create the most unhappiness is when a person uses personal power to get ahead without regards to the welfare of others, people are obsessed with it. You can take a nice person and turn them into a slob, into an insane being, craving power, destroying anything that stands in their way. Affiliate Code: 3T15O1S07G

Wife gave the green light for the DK05, gave it some thought and decided against it.
I love tinkering with my rig - the desk would make it very annoying, having to move the speakers and monitors everytime.
This will be my first custom water loop - maintenance and getting the bubbles will be a nightmare
I have way too many peripherals - no way to attach keyboard and mouse trays etc.
Value - factor the fans, the two cases (dual system), a adjustable standing desk its still 800-1000 too expensive.
Great build by you, did you apply conductonaut to the lid as well, or just the die?

I spread it on the die and put also a little on the lid.

One thing Ive always wondered is have you accidentally bumped into the desk as you are pulling in your chair

Most gaming chairs are cheap junk. Got a Steelcase Gesture. If you want to put money into your build, that is a great investment.

Thats the downside, the desk is quite heavy, so its good if you pick a spot and leave everything there :)

Well, you just have to remove everything that is on the desk, then the covering glass plate can just be lifted, no tools needed.

Is water cooling a must have when using a desk case setup or is it more that you're doing so much modding at that point it's just something you do?
