dvelope at what time will they go up for sale?
Nvidia website says 10am. We are all assuming that is 10 am pacific, since they usually base their times on pacific timeframes.

Good luck guys dealing with EVGA website going down and or slowing to a crawl and not responding at all due to traffic this is the case every launch im sure its still not fixed. Pro tip: Already be logged into your account and ready. Open bunch of tabs in browser and keep hitting f5 and cross finger you get one added to cart then to check out and copy link from check out because good chance site will stop working then open even more tabs and paste check out link f5 those also...good luck lol

Can't be fixed, after every NVIDIA premium graphic card launch on EVGA site is state of siege. Customers want EVGA GPU.

Because of NDA issued by nVidia, go blame them for this.

The review embargo lifted for reviewers, evga tends to update their website at 8am pacific time, they don't seem to have a timed update or they time it for 8am.

We shouldn't have to presume anything. It should be clearly stated when things will need updated and at specifically what time and time zone. That's not asking for allot.

123Testing123 Thanks for your thoughts, everyone! Really appreciate it.
Guess I'll go for the Ti. I'm presently still using a rather old card (AMD Radeon HD 6850) and I'm really ready to build a new system. I hope I don't have to wait till May!
what CPU do you have? It may be worth going with a cheap GPU and and upgrading you cpu
I have an i7-6950x awaiting the rest of the build.
holy! never mind CPU upgrade. Was baseing off of since you said you had such an old GPU and we're ready to do a new build. I'd say 100℅ go for the 1080ti since your budget seems to be able to handle it
:-) Yeah, I understand. It's been a while since I did any upgrading to my system and it's now time to do so. Bring it on, EVGA!

I am NOT sure how it works with the thermal sensors and fuse, and if it is still considered reference. I think it may be semi reference.. i honestly have no idea how to answer your question at this time, lol. I see that the sc models have dvi.. the founders edition does not.

Long time lurker here, getting VERY excited about this. I haven't upgraded real hardware in about 7 years - running on an i7-980 & GTX 680 Going to go with the 1080 Ti & I think an i7-7700K. Still EVGA loyal! Have fun everyone!

I remember years ago (~2006ish) the only stepup options were to stock/reference cards, does nvidia do any acx/icx cards in stepup these days or is it usually just founders/reference? Just bought a 1080 FTW 2 weeks ago.

If they want to deal with an NDA/Embargo breach, sure. If not, I doubt they will. It really all depends on what time and region the embargo lifts. We, as end users, do not honestly know what time that is.
