ARCTIC, a leading manufacturer of low-noise PC coolers and components, today launched the latest in its well-respected Freezer series of CPU coolers, the Freezer 50 TR. An extremely powerful cooler for AMD Ryzen Threadripper processors, the ARCTIC Freezer 50 TR is a dual tower CPU cooler with eight heatpipes and two ARCTIC P-fans (for optimal airflow in push-pull configuration). As the first cooler of the Freezer family that comes equipped with Addressable RGB, it combines high performance with striking design.
 
The product is available now on the market and on Amazon at a price of £ 59.99 MSRP. The Freezer 50 TR with A-RGB Controller is expected to be available in early November. If you want an air cooler for Threadripper in my personal opinion this one is the best available.

    Hope they left room for tall RAM
     been a long time since I've seen a good review of air coolers ... see how these compare to other brand designs

    Given their smaller cooler has yet to see my 1950 get any version of "hot" despite my suspicions when I bought it, I'd whole heartedly reccomend this.

    I like others wish there was a non RGB version like the smaller one.

    This is why I abandoned air coolers & went AIO kits instead.



    Dependent on case and MB, the same thing can happen to a AIO.

    Looks like at least one manufacturer is ready for 3rd gen Threadripper

    Agreed now that I think about it; my last setup had a super thick 140 rad that I then put into push/pull with fans barely squeaked into place.
