That is a good price, is there more than a 30 day warranty? Manufacturer warranty at all? Not complaining just asking.

The warranty is their 30-day return warranty. Supermicro will honor the 3 year warranty. All they are saying is that they will handle the first month for you then you have to deal with Supermicro.

Wow went for $13.50 + shipping! Hope someone on the team got it? I started to bid $20 or $25 but couldn't really afford it plus I really need to sell some stuff before getting anything else.  Edit: if I had bid it'd been my luck like normal the price would have gone sky high before ending.  I never get lucky like this when I bid.

There's a few good sites I keep an eye on here in Europe but there's a real drought of 4P gear in general and we normally pay the same figure in euros as you guys pay in $. All the goodies are mainly in the US. So we pay for shipping plus get nailed for tax.
Anyway, enough moaning. I'm looking for another 4P rig if anyone spots one.

Excellent! I know what you mean about space. My 10' × 10' is also the 3rd bedroom with a double bed  it's cosy, noisy but has awesome aircon.

Plenty left and seller has some 8439s to go with it. It's coming from South Korea, hopefully, and I'm not sure how that will work with the EU. All other projects are now firmly on the back burner until that puppy is up and folding.

Man if I could swing a 4p G34 board I'd be all over these. Heck it wasn't that long ago these were $100 each, and considered one of the best G34 folding CPU's. I'd love a 4p and these with the [H] oc'ing bios.

yea i am ordering 1 more board and 4 of them 8389's on Tuesday seeing as i just sold off the last of my gpu's from the farm i had and with the 100.00 left from that i ordered 8 cooler master hyper 101A at $11.55 each for a grand total of 104.41 to my door from BestDirect in Canada

I also put in an offer and they just accepted. Paid for it, now that I have committed what else do I need. Have a PSU but have never used Linux so can use any guides available. What can be expected as to PPD and do I need to change CPU. Will 20 gig HD be okay. I am sure more questions will follow.
