Hi guys, I’m trying to upgrade to the am5 platform and I’m trying to hang on to my GTX 670 EVGA FTW 2gb card but I’m struggling to get it to boot with the new am5 platform 7500F (no integrated graphics) and it was working fine on my previous build i5 3570k.

My motherboard b650 Asrock Livemixer is presenting with 5 short beeps 1 long and it could be because it is not recognising the GPU.

Any tips how I can get around this issue? I tried plugging in via HDMI and get no signal. I tried booting with the SSD latest graphics driver and no luck.

Has the GTX 670 vbios been updated to be UEFI compatible?

FAQ # 59422    Does my 600 series video card come with a UEFI bios for secure boot?Last Update: 2014/04/19Copy Link
(copy of FAQ, below)

Currently the GTX Titan and 700 series are the only video card that comes stock with a UEFI bios. If you own a 600 series kepler video card, GT640 and higher, please , include the serial number and make/model of your motherboard. The UEFI update doesn't contain any performance increases just support for the secure boot option within Windows 8 and a compatible motherboard.
