Of course not, there is no practical reason in buying fast cars/boats/planes/smartphones/millions of other things I could think of. Why would someone buy it? Because they WANT it. For me personally, I'll use this flashlight at work. 40 Minutes is perfect for me. And I can blind my co-workers and burn stuff, how fun is that?

LearjetMinako Ahhh, my addiction to flashlights. Must turn away from the light. I have gone through several generations of flashlight. My favorites seems to be Maglites. I've had the their first LED mini mags for quite a while till they introduced the MagTac lights. I now find the brightness to be a bit overkill at 300+ lumens in close quarters, but can definitely light up the path when needed.
I quit buying Maglite after i found Fenix brand. Maglite is way behind other mfg when it comes to quality and lumens output. You should check out Fenix PD35 ($70) or Fenix E35EU ($45). Both flashlights will fit in your pocket. I own the PD35 and it's awesome. The strobe mode will mess up anyone night vision that comes near you. If anyone does like the Fenix flashlight and wants to order one. Use this code before you checkout. Fenix 10% off discount code:APP10
True that Maglite has always been behind the ball when compared to other companies. I was thrilled when Maglite finally introduced a 123A battery operated flashlight, MagTac's. From day to day use of the MagTac, I have bought a holster for it, and wish maybe Maglite added an extra low mode for map use. But for quickly blinding a person, it works. Lighting up the trail, it works. Going to be adding rechargeable batteries on the next purchase.

Let's see who's having more fun when I'm driving a Ferrari, or riding my SuperJet, or flying my LearJet, or playing with my OnePlus One...while you're standing out in a field with your ultra high end flashlight. I'm going to put money on the cars/boats/planes/smartphones/millions of other things being more entertaining.

T hose who abuse power, are nothing but scumbags! The challenge of power is how to use it and not abuse it. The abuse of power that seems to create the most unhappiness is when a person uses personal power to get ahead without regards to the welfare of others, people are obsessed with it. You can take a nice person and turn them into a slob, into an insane being, craving power, destroying anything that stands in their way. Affiliate Code: 3T15O1S07G

The Flashtorch itself has three power modes and a 18,650 milliamperes per hour battery capable of delivering 10 to 40 minutes of continuous use depending the setting. ..so full blast = 10 minutes.

I saw this thread with that post it marker that said I was part of this topic, and didn't remember it. That's because this topic is 5 and half years old. still, threads like these are good for remember old posters. also with a 10 minute battery life at full blast, if you used it for 5.5 years it would require 289,278ā¬ changes of batteries.
