850 G5 dead on arrival?

just bought the 850 G5 and when i use the detection tool, the fan doesn't kick on. the green LED on the back does, and ECO mode is off. anybody here know if there are any issues with this PSU arriving DOA? is it rare? thanks!

    Yeah if eco mode is off that fan should be running at all times if I remember right. Although it's rare to get a doa evga power supply it's definitely happened before
