Sounds like you got an auto response. I would send them a detailed e mail just so you can prove that you tried to place the order in the agreed upon time frame and thus met your legal obligation. When I got my notice there was no issue, I placed the order, got a confirmation with minutes and got the GPU a few days later. Still, overall the entire situation regarding this generation of GPUs from ordering, supply, performance issues, drivers, reliability Etc. seems to be a historical mess.

Don’t worry. Just reply to the email that you received to purchase the card and explain the issue you had. You can also call customer support during business hours as well. They will help you out. Also, since the payment went through, it’s highly likely that your purchase went through. A lot of people missed the 8 hour window, but were still able to purchase their card of choice, by replying to the email. Good luck.

Contact PayPal and explain the situation, see if they can cancel one of the orders. EVGA EU doesn’t work on the weekends, so I am not sure what support person you spoke with.

From my experience, paying with pupil forces the delivery address to match the shipping address. If you have the delivery and shipping set to different locations, that may be causing the error you are experiencing.
You should receive a confirmation number from PayPal, forward that to the EVGA Eu support, and let them verify if the payment went through. They will likely be able to help you get that figured out.

Paypal says the payments have been claimed by EVGA so they cant cancel them and only EVGA can do something

Hey guys,
I have replied to the OP about this. For future, bank charges that are applied by the bank after a transaction attempt, but the transaction fails, will typically fall off within a day. Thanks!

It's not your email to buy, it's the date you signed up, you can find it at https://eu.evga.com/community/myNotifies.asp

Hi Anthony, Thanks for the reply. It really depends where the problem occurs. When the payment request goes to paypal and they process it and the problem is on EVGAs end by messing up the feedback in the API from paypal about the payment being accepted then paypal has no clue that something went wrong with wrapping up the order at EVGA because thats not paypals bussiness. In that case paypal will charge both payments on my bank account. I suspect that is what happened and if so these will not just fall off. Paypal says unclaimed payments will fall off. Claimed payments do not fall off and that these payments are claimed. That is what paypall says at least. I replied to your email, maybe we should keep this convo through the official channel PS U are asking me to reply to an emailadress to request a new link and explain the situation but thats the same adress you are replying from? I recieved the direct link from supporteu@evga.com and you are also replying from that.

Hi, I had the same problem! (EU) I got a notification email at 13:00 (German Time) and tried to order. It failed 3 times and my credit card got charged three times (it is linked to my paypal). I do not assume that there is any problem on my side as I was able to order a keyboard from EVGA shop one (or two) weeks ago. Of course, I sent an comprehensive email to EU support including some screenshots. I hope, they can sort it out quickly on Monday...

In that case, its only more likely my bank account will also be charged :( For me it was allready clear the problem is on EVGA ends on the website. Nice to get some comfirmation i am not the only one because often the user gets blamed with standard stuff like browser issues or something. Lets hope for tomorrow, 7.5 hours before working hours start.

@radjezz - I hope it'll get sorted out quickly. This would be a nightmare situation for me as well. Sorry for derailing, but I don't have enough posts yet to PM somebody and this caught my attention. Stormdan It failed 3 times and my credit card got charged three times (it is linked to my paypal).
How? EVGA is being extremely weird when it comes to PayPal and CCs. My VISA is linked to my PayPal as well but I've only ever been able to pay through direct withdrawal (ELV) on PayPal, my card gets ignored entirely. I've had that when buying the warranty for my 1080, and then just recently when getting the warranty again for my StepUp and then future 3080 card.

Hm, I have only linked it to my credit card and not to a bank account... perhapsm that is teh reason it works for me.... btw.... EU support contacted me and told that they will settle everything soon. As EVGA is very reliable I am happy with the situation now.
