After checking an important post on the x-3dfx Facebook page, one I administrate, Radu posted this awesome interview with the original 3dfx Crew the founders themselves!!

Left to right:
Ross Smith, Scott Sellers, Gary Tarolli, and Gordon Campbell

Here a description of the video my EVGA friends, let's go back in time, to the company that gave us PC users the most revolutionary graphics card company ever, 3Dfx Interactive, and thks to 3Dfx we have 2D/3D accelerated VGA cards & Games today.

3dfx and I have a very strong bond I beta tested their Voodoo5 5000 / 5500 & 6000 Engineering Samples

3dfx Voodoo5 6000 AGP 128MB Rev.A 3700 & Single Pinned Late Voodoo Volts 60Watt External PSU + PC Bios 1.16
Card was updated with a PCI-Rework, Interal Power Hookup added by 3dfx Engineer Sir Hank Semenec.

The Internal hookup made it easier to use and TDP was 55 Watts instead of 60 Watts

3dfx Voodoo5 5500 PCI+DVI 64MB Pre-Production Board + PC bios 1.11_LCD Beta

3dfx Voodoo5 5000 AGP x4 32MB Rev.A0 3700 Engineering Sample [1st Card] + PC Bios 1.15

From top to bottom:
3dfx Voodoo5 5000 AGP x4 32MB Rev.A0 3700 Engineering Sample [2nd Card] + PC Bios 1.15
3dfx Voodoo5 5000 PCI 32MB Rev.A1 0900 Engineering Sample + PC Bios 1.00b

Top to Bottom:
3dfx Voodoo5 5500 AGPx4 64MB Rev.A2 3500 Engineering Sample + PC Bios 1.12 Beta
3dfx Voodoo5 5500 AGP 64MB Rev.A 2500 Production Board + PC Bios 1.18

Even that these were from my collection I also used them to help the ex-3dfx programmers make the drivers better for these carrds, I did this from 2002 to 2009, after I had to sell them due to money need for other projects, even so my vital research helped a huge lot of people within the entire 3dfx community and now being in the crew of the original 3dfx community that flies under them name x-3dfx is the greatest gift any 3dfx fan can have.

Thanks to great driver support from the x-3dfx driver team and that from 3dfxzone.it the Voodoo5 6000 has seen gains of at least 55%, which is quite a huge leap for a VGA card that never hit the market

Enjoy this my friends of EVGA, this is really worth watching!
