I also just got into the EU Queue 9:01 CEST.
Do you know since when it was able to Step Up in the EU? I checked last at 1:20pm CEST when it was not able. When I cheked at 8:50am it was there and I signed up but, would be good to know when the EU queue opened and when earliest people got into the queue :)

I think I was pretty early, I checked every few minutes. I needed a few attempts for the Step-Up process, because I kept getting errors. I think it opened at 8:10, earliest could be point 8. But I want to believe it was about 8:15.

Ah nice okay, so with 9:01  CEST I am definitely not first but I guess when I am lucky I might get it within the next months. I also had to do it again because of errors.

It says im in the que and I see it in my product page but I never got a step 1 email

That's more than 90 days ago, so no, you can't change it.
 
But, there might be a good chance that the regular 3080 won't be continued, in that case they would probably offer you the options to step-up to a 3080 super or 3080 ti instead. but to be honest, even with EVGAs good prices, the 3080 Ti ist pretty expensive.

The Step-Up to a 3080 in my country costs, including 19% tax ~930 Euro, the 3080 Ti is at over 1400 Euro. About +50%.

That's true, it is a very pricey for really not alot more of anything but i guess its the supply and demand aspect right now. A super would be nice if its at a decent price point, a Ti step-up for me would be about $925, whereas the 3080 is only going to cost me $375. 

Considering how slow all the queues are moving, I thought best chance to get any card would be to do the step up to the 3080ti as soon as it came out last week and get in the queue early. I actually think the 3080 is the way better deal and the 3080ti FTW in the step up is too expensive - but it is still way cheaper than buying it for 2k+ on eBay and so on.

Step 1: 8:16 am PST - 6/3/21
Step 2: 2:18 pm PST - 6/7/21

Got my step 2 at 5:18 pm est as well. This is so unexpected lol as I just received my 3080 on May 17. I know the improvement is minimal and this step up came much quicker than I expected. I could just not pay but I’ve waited all this time just to get a 3080 so I guess I’ll follow through with the step up or else I’ll always be wondering what could have been

Received my step 5 today and shipped out my card overnighting. Hope to have my 3080 Ti this weekend. The quickness in which I moved through the program is amazing!

Congrats! What did you step up from and what's the timing of your step 1 email?

I'm curious to know how many people signed up for Step Up between 8:15am and 11:53am...I had an all day interview and the site wasn't cooperating with me during breaks. :(
 
EDIT: Oh shoot, just realized the 8:15am is PST which means 11:15am EST my time. Now I'm curious how many people signed up in the first hour. :)
