will ti elite queue be seperate from notify queue? if your late to the elite queue could you end up waiting longer than someone in the regular queue

The system needs to change. It should be face to face online purchase. Then it removes bots from equation. So looks like May 31 big announcement.

Hm, I was excited about RTX 3080 Ti, but considering fact that 3090 is 10-12% faster than base RTX 3080, I dont think Ti version will be faster more than 5-10%. Is 999$ or even 1049$ worth it? Its hard to tell. +2Gb VRAM is not tat big game changer. We will see, but I am more than sure that all cards will be sell out during first 60 seconds after release.

the 80ti basically performs at 3090 levels aside from having half as much vram from what I hear but unless you're rendering a heavy work load I highly doubt you're going to feel like you're missing out on anything. If you're going to need that kind of power you probably shouldn't even be thinking about the 80ti.

for those that were lucky to get a 3090 prior to the tariffs going in effect actually got an okay deal if the 3080 ti does end up costing $1100-1400 for AIB models especially if they've been able to game on the card since September/October.

what is your source on this information? I was told the FE's would be available on May 25th and the AIB's would be released a day later on May 26th. 

videocardz.com, also a lot of YouTuber said that in their video.

Well maybe but scalpers still buy the cards and resell them at 3 times the price to gamers

I see this coming for rtx 3080ti

I am furious to see this happening. While gamers cannot even buy ONE graphic card while a person on ebay just sell 75x of RTX 3060 with 285% of msrp.

absolutely insane to see inventory like that held by one person. Haven't built a pc in a few years and its killing it for me that people are stocking up.

I am just looking to go in to the 4K teritorry. While the 3080 achieves that hopefully the 3080TI will perform better at those minimum frame rates where it could ruin your experience.
Will you believe that the 4K experience on the 3080TI will be similar to 3090 or more closely to 3080?

 hash limiter won't help gamers get more cards, that's my opinion. There are many coins for which miners will want to have 3080ti :(

This. Also, we wont see the effects of the hashrate limiter immediately. If it works and isn't cracked for ETH, then scalper bots or resellers are still going to snag your cards from stores besides EVGA to sell for huge profit. The only way I see this going is that the scalpers stock gets so large (due to more cards being available to them because miners don't buy them anymore) that they are forced to lower their profit margin and thus bringing the price closer to MSRP so that eventually the cycle ends because scalping GPU's isnt profitable anymore. Then they move on to other products or quit. 

This will take months before we could see any effects, because besides all that, the supply shortage will not change untill somewhere in 2022 most likely.

TI`s incoming with miners blocked ..sweet! The gamers supported the VGA cards companyes and we lost now due to miners and scalpers greed. We gamers require to be respected! EVGA started a good movement blocking 1 card per buyer.

The future of video card looks like windows CD key required to activate 😂

I think it's going to be more similar to the 3090. You have to remember though that at 4k we're talking about single digit performance increases in FPS between the the 3080 and 3090, so an 80ti doesn't really make any sense in that regard. If you could get all three cards at MSRP, assuming FE pricing, I would definitely recommend the 80 over the 80ti and 90 just because it allows you to spend more on other things like better ram, ssd, cpu, etc...

I think a lot of websites sold 1 car per buyer/account, or had that listed. Still, they managed to bypass that. Either by making multiple accounts or different IP's and I don't know what else.

There needs to be way to block scalpers and miners full stop.

Miners are legitimate users of GPU’s and the cards shouldn’t be mining limited. It’s the scalpers that are the problem. I’m not a miner, I play VR.

I don't agree with this because there is specialized hardware for mining. Ever heard of something called an ASIC? They are essentially robbing gamers of hardware for their own monetary game and that's not a legitimate use. 

There are some salty dogs on this thread! I was looking at a 90 day time frame to get a card, I'm in over 6 months now. Some people have been at this much longer than me. The one thing I've learned is to just go with it.
