talon951 No forcing it on. It's good for 200-300 pts.
ohhhh thats in time spy. does it also juice up TSE? nice runs btw! I think you're in the top 3 for non sub ambient.
It increases the graphics score in both TS and PR, but not in TSE for whatever reason. With TS though, it will hurt your CPU score, so if you are going for overall score, need to run both ways. My 3900x machine with the 3080TI scores the highest combined score in TS with reBar off, but my 5800x machine with a 3090 is the opposite.

03whitegsr I'm not familiar enough with how it reports to know what ya mean? I assumed 3D mark takes the reported clock speed chart that it has and then averages all that data to create the average clock?
By "Forcing on Rebar" is there something else I need to do besides just having the MB settings right and turning it on in PX1?
Not going to lie, I'm just in the lazy man OC realm where I get it as much cold air as possible, turn the offsets and power limits as high as is stable and see where it ends up. About the only thing I do beyond that is capping the frequency so it avoids spiking the frequency too high at load transitions. Doing this was enough to put me in the top 1% on 3080Ti list but haven't been able to break top 100. Of course, top 100 is really like 5 people with 18 different scores and then maybe 10 others that only submit their highest, different topic though.
Well you have understand how GPU boost works. Even when you see a steady voltage/frequency displayed, it is still bouncing between some of the points to the left of the display/reported VF point. That's what the effective clock is showing in HWINFO. This pertains to CPUs but it's similar for GPUs, https://www.hwinfo.com/fo...t-discrete-clock.5958/Yes, you have to force reBar with NVIDIA Profile Inspector. https://wccftech.com/here...-via-nvidia-inspector/I clean up some of my runs. I'll have to look, is there a setting to keep it from auto uploading? I hate it that there are so many repeats too, but it's painful with their interface to clean them all up. And I managed to delete my personal best PR score with the stock EVGA bios too. Grrr...

Thanks for the info. Part of me wants to eek out every last point I can get. Then I'd have to use the Galax Bios though and I'm not sure a bench mark score is really worth the risk. Although, seeing like 21fps in cyberpunk with 4K ultra ray tracing at 420W was a little disheartening... An extra 200W might get it up to 23fps. Lol
Yeah, there is a setting you can shut off the auto display in the rankings. The runs still get saved in your results but you have to go in and set that run to be displayed in the rankings.

I tend to be drawn to anything competitive so not shocking I've wasted a lot of time on it.
Thanks I'll try to remember to change it on my account.

Thanks, I could probably push core higher but will hold for now, I'm not really into overclocking hugely but wanted to have a bit of fun on water. Update: welp it does appear in my tests and from reading here that 2145 boost seems to be the ceiling where I crash early into Time Spy, tried a few modest bumps in voltage but still dumps early, I'm pretty satisfied with clocks that mirror the 3090 Ti. Interesting to note, base boost on these cards are set at 1800 but with boost lock I'm @ 1965, +165 over base but likely due to my being set on the card's OC BIOS position, thus I've dropped down for sake of stability to +1000 mem (21004 MHz Effective), +75 core (2040 MHz) to reflect what a 3090 Ti might be on an OC BIOS without knowing exact numbers, current scores below: Time Spy (20.9K) Port Royal (14K) Time Spy Stress Test (99.4%, Mem +1250, Core +105) will test shortly with BF 2042 among others.

It's almost exactly the same as my 1080Ti. In my experience when you can both run a higher clock +145, and significantly lower the voltage, your GPU should last a good long time. I've not even pushed it enough to crash yet. Not sure if I am going to hybrid this one or not. It's really quiet. Someone must of had their morning java. Memory and PWM temps stay below 70C even under load. Figured I'd just edit this one. https://www.3dmark.com/spy/27445391Within a whisker of 8K. Still undervolting. 2010@ 1.006

Ok what am I doing wrong? I can't seem to break 15k in PR. I'm sure if I did the force ReBar technique I could get it but I just want to do it the same way I did my previous best. I always seem to crash at these settings right at the end of the benchmark. Are the temps just too high? Or should I increase voltage? I noticed at higher voltage I reach higher clocks but get a lower score. I'm doing it in my house with 70-72F ambient temps. 3080 ti probably won't get there until you get the clock up to about 2160, not sure if you're going to do that at your temp.

I get the best stock bios score from limiting the curve around 1018 mv. PR doesn't go higher than that much if any of the run, but it seems to allow me to go one more bin sometimes (15mhz) probably due to the card very briefly jumping higher under lower load. But kraade is probably right, you're about at the limit of the stock bios at that temp without doing some of the tweaks like forcing reBar. What settings did you use to get the 14950 score? I posted the curves I've used here for reference, https://www.overclock.net...page-116#post-28985610

+195 is all my card can complete. The only VF curve change that can buy any more stability is the one I linked to above that I used for the Galax bios. But that really only works when you can lock the voltage (no power limit).

Yeah I was basically running your same curve except I had the cutoff @ 1.025v. When I go to +210 though it crashes at the end of the benchmark. Ill just have to wait for a chilly morning or evening and see if I can drop a few degrees. When looking at those who got 15k+ with my same setup, they all have lower average temps. My delta between ambient and water temp seems to be 5-7 degrees under sustained load. What is considered a good delta between water temp and max gpu temp?

I use PR mostly for a standard so I can look at gains or losses in comparison to other configurations, if you are interested in the last few FPS , I think Paul of Paul's hardware on youtube goes over a bunch of the side things you can do to improve your score, along with the 2 other in the RIP GN RIP Jays2cents Rip Paul series.

NP. I was going to say, only need to drop another 5C to crack 15k. Just crank down the A/C or run a duct from a vent.
Which block do you have? My Heatkiller V is around 10-12C block delta (water to core) at 450w. I give a range because it will vary depending on where the power is going (mem vs. core mostly). 38C average is good, so I doubt you're leaving much there.

Optimus block. My experience with them was super good. I ordered the cpu and gpu blocks on March 19th 2022 and received them both by April 26th. Probably paid too much but I really like the look and performance. It was a toss up between Optimus and Heatkiller. I just went with Optimus because they're US based and I preferred the look of the cpu block more.
