I saw the 3090 has its own thread, I would like to start one for the 3080. Please share your scores and any improvements if you went from an air to hybrid. Here are mine. XOC Bios was used

    My results with Port Royal:
    1. Non-Hybrid (+140 Core and +1200 Memory) GPU score 12580
    2. Hybrid (+145 Core and +1200 Memory) GPU score 12644. It seems that my gpu's limit is at 145 core. If I try to push the core higher, it will crash. If I push the memory higher the score will get worse.
I'm new here so I can't post the link: 3dmark.com/compare/pr/633343/pr/626280
The most noticeable change here is the temp. It decreases significantly from 63C to 44C.

I'm impressed with those memory OC's I can only get mine to 600. But I have been able to push my card to +175 on just air. I get my hybrid kit on Thursday and maybe I can break 200? I'm hopeful.

It maybe possible to get better memory with better cooling, which is what the Hybrid does, it ties the memory heat spreader right to the AIO.

Try this, open heaven benchmark and change it to walk mode, place the camera where you would like to observe FPS. Do this in Window mode. Now increase your memory over and over again and watch the FPS counter. Does it go up or down? Check past 600 and see what happens.

I don't have the ftw3 hybrid, but I do have the xc3 hybrid.  It's strange, my timespy results don't show up as a 3080 and instead show up as  "generic vga".

It sees that it is an EVGA card though.  But not that it's a 3080.

My computer sees it as a 3080, GPU-Z and precision X1 do as well.

Nice results, but makes it really hard to justify upgrading from a good 2080 Ti.  Like +16% in TS and +22% in PR.  Yeah you get the 2.1 HDMI and VRR but I don't have a display to support that (yet).  Chicken or egg?  Meh.
