Hardware

GPU: EVGA RTX 3080 FTW3 Ultra
Cooler: EVGA 30 Series FTW3 Hybrid radiator
    Fans: 2400 RPM ML120 in Push-Pull

Test Method:

Stock clocks, memory and power draw
Time Spy Graphic Test 2 looping in the background
    Average power draw was 365W
Fan speeds were adjusted from 100% down to 40% in increments of 20%
System was ran until there were no changes for 2 minutes, then a reading from GPU-Z was started and left for another few minutes to get averages
See my post of how I setup the hybrid hereAmbient 21C

The curve really changes at 60%, so I will at a minimum run my fans at 60%My radiator is in push-pull

Great work King! Any sense for how much having push and pull helps? Rather then just push or pull? It looks like the stock air cooler on that's first slide. Am I seeing things?

I can hear the pump of both my H150i and Hybrid at idle since they are the loudest thing in the system with all the fans running at 200-400 RPM. When the fans hit 600 RPMs, I an no longer hear it.

I wish I tested, but I have no clue. I went straight away and swapped out the stock fans for ML120s from Corsair.

    Great data, temperatures are good.

Do you have to do a firmware update for the hybrid cooler once you install it? My kit is coming this week. There isn't anything specific in the instructions I was reading online about that.

I just installed a push/pull using the stock evga fans on pull and 2xml120 on push and dropped 5 to 10C compared to pull only. Quite impressive! Once my fan splitters arrive I will install everything correctly and see if I can quite this beast down.

Question to the author or anyone who is current using the push pull. How did yall connect the fans? Did you daisy chain into the fan header on the gpu it self or are you using a different pwm controller like commander pro?

I was using the card's PWM signal to my case's fan hub (Lian Li Lancool Mesh) to drive the stock fans (3080 FTW3 Hybrid card) plus A12's.  The card's PWM seemed to max out the stock fans about 2500rpm or so, ymmv.  The fan hub can be switched to run full 100% PWM, which resulted in 2900rpm on the stock fans.  They are .25A fans so I'm guessing EVGA didn't want them running maxed out.  With max fans, top exhaust, plus many other case fans it did 53C in Furmark at 445w average.  I've since switched to some San Ace 3400rpm 120x38 .8A server fans, running off a MB header with the hub and control with "Fan Control" freeware so they can idle at 1000rpm 0% PWM. See below for a full readout of a long Furmark run at 445w and 49C, mostly max fans. The San Ace fans are maybe 30-50% stronger than a Noctua 3000rpm Industrial and I've got three good pressure fans in the bottom and bottom front of the case plus P-P on the front AIO, so these are not typical results.  There is a stiff breeze coming out the top of the case/rad exhaust, enough to blow off the top filter, exhaust temp 5C above ambient, coolant temp seems in the low 30C's.

Here's a good cheap hub on Amazon:

Mine are done with EK Fan splitters & the PWM signal is to the motherboard, with temperature controlled by a thermal sensor probe that's on the 480mm x 60mm radiator's exhaust.  Link to the splitter:

    https://www.ekwb.com/shop/ek-cable-splitter-4-fan-pwm-extended

If you have a motherboard that has a T_Sensor plug in, this is a great way to control fans while powering them off the PSU directly, and not having to worry about them being weird in terms of power draw or whatnot.

Thanks for the input yall, this helps alot I am about to install my hybrid kit on my 3080 and was planning to do a push/pull config. I will have to put that off until i get some splitters or hub. Also this helps on how to control my EK 360 aio so much appreciated on the feedback. My o11 dynamic xl will be coming in soon so I have a lot of fan control I will have to think about.

I control it with my mother and argus monitor software to make fan profiles.

I also bought a pwm hub that gets powered from SATA because cheap splitters have burnt our my Mobo own header recently.

I measured the exhaust temps of my 3080 hybrid on push pull at 37c (100f) and being that you are pulling that into your case do you notice other components heating up because of it? Did you happen to try reversing fan direction so it was exhausting out of the side instead of being an intake?

2 fans on a commander pro and 2 on the card itself

Well I also have 4 other intake fans bringing in ambient air, but yes it is a lot of hot air going into yhe case all by itself if it wasn't for the other intake fans.
