24 Hour Support

The quality of the products have gone down along with the RMA department sending out DOA or faulty replacements left and right. The only main reason to buy EVGA products at this point is for the 24 hour support. Now that this is gone, why should I buy anything from this company ? The tech support staff is great, however the prices are high, the RMA services is no longer good and you no longer offer 24 hour support. The main selling point for EVGA was 24 hour Customer Service, not some overseas outsourced guy from India. Guess I buy from a different company if you can't support the customers properly. 

Bring back 24 hour Customer service as this is the only real service you provide that sets you apart from the rest of the crowd.

    I wouldn't agree that 24/7 support is the only reason to buy evga products. How often do people call tech support.

    How many times have you called EVGA, after 10pm, or at all for that matter? Seems like they're streamlining their process and their hours are still greater than other manufacturers and their support team, in general, is more knowledgeable and helpful than other manufacturers, from personal experience.
     
    I have owned MSI, XFX, Gigabyte, ASUS and EVGA products, and anytime I needed support for a product, which was rare, it was much faster and easier to get support from EVGA than any of the other manufacturers, some of which don't even have phone support at all and just rely on emails or online support tickets, which can take days to get a response without any resolution to an issue. EVGA is a relatively small company in comparison with the monster corporations people relate them to, constantly.
     
    I will admit, there are many reported issues with the name EVGA stated, but that's also because many more people buy EVGA products specifically for their reputation for quality and support, in the GPU and PSU market.
     
    I can't speak for or defend any issues that others have experienced. I can only provide information on my own experiences and generally my experience with EVGA has been good.

    I have my on call nights and weekends for emergency calls and get paid well if I have to take a call or not. I am a heating, cooling and refrigeration tech and understand that someones life may be in danger if I do not respond in a timely manner. But, you are talking about a PC component here. Call it a night already, tomorrow is another day. Besides, the members here are always happy to help 24/7/364

    Good point the forums are always here to post on. Often when I run into a computer problem I will spend hours trying to fix it on my own and post to see if anyone else has any ideas. I would rather not have to RMA a product and will admit that even now I still many mistakes that I don’t realize at the time and someone’s advice gives me an answer.
