3080TI hasn't been released yet. Any bets on specs?
My money is on ~3090 performance just at a lower price point, as well as not having SLI compatibility (but who uses that these days).

Then buy a miner card. The limiter might mean that the card will be (at least for a time) unappealing to miners and thus have a chance to end up with people who want to use a graphics card for graphics.

Not enough information was given ... like your other hardware & @ what monitor display settings do a web search & look at the charts - but there is only rumors to go by - till the Nvidia NDAs are removed

Wouldnt it just be better to deal with it being nerfed for mining, with a halved (or worse) mining rate? Sure you're not going to be earning as much as a dedicated mining card - but you're earning SOMETHING out of it. Because tbh, if you're using it for gaming primarily then you needn't worry about an ROI timeline based on the cards cost since you'll be getting your moneys worth out of the value you get from gaming itself.

nvidia claims 1.5x but their claims are usually "under certain loads" we will see more honest reviews from YouTubers once the card launches.

just look up "3090 vs 2080ti". the 3080ti is practically a 3090 with half the ram. one theory was that the 3080ti was basically 3090s that didn't make the cut.
