I was set to auto notify and didn't get the notification til 9-9, how did people grab it up 2 days before it was sent out as available?

Pre-orders were in stock a few times each day starting on 9/7.  A lot of us played a game we refer to as "F5 Hero" to refresh between batches until it showed in stock.  I received no auto-notify for the 9/7 batches, and then got an auto-notify after I placed my 9/8 order.  Go figure.

9/9 is the red headed step child right now

9/8 preorder is now processing. I just let out a fart of hot air and the relief of frustration from waiting is finally over.

I'll call it done and over with when it's cranking frames out to my monitor and not a moment sooner :P

So true. Too anxious to slap it in my rig and run quad monitors on it. 1060 was barely driving them but I'm glad I waited for Turing :)

That's a tough one.  Dependent on your location, I would try changing the shipping to ground in hopes you get it when you arrive back at home and worse case, assuming there needs to be a signature, they will attempt a couple of times before they send it back to the original shipper (EVGA) out in Cali.

Yesterday my Z390 FTW was delayed and UPS gave me the option to hold or deliver to neighbor.  Not sure if that was because of the delay or standard practicce.

Thanks guys...I'l see what my options are once it's in UPS's hands.  I have an account with them and usually get different options once my items ship, so time will tell.

Seriously doubt it does. EVGA will of course serve their own pre orders before others. And Like some have said, they've not received shipping notice for orders placed on 9/9. 
Anyway, BH photo quoted OCt 23rd, which seems possible. So its best to be patient until then. 
 
I pre ordered on BH Photo on Sept 15th, so if it actually does ship on the 23rd, I think thats pretty fair.

Come on now...I love B&H!  No taxes, fast shipping, good CS...That is where my 1080ti FTW3 came from and that is where my 2080ti FTW3 is coming from...one day.  lol.

I dont appreciate the stupid "holiday" closings they perpetually have for their ONLINE store. Also, they charged $50 more for the FTW3.... (the zotac card they have is also priced higher than newegg/MSRP). 
 
But yeah, I also got my 1080ti there as well. Pretty decent company.

Same boat.  I pre-ordered from them Sept. 13th as soon as I saw them it popped on their site before they even had pictures of it...lol.  From the beginning they had their expected date as 10/23.  With Jacob saying general availability next week, it seems like they either made a lucky guess, or were in the know.

Well....mine never got processed today. Ugh. I am honestly sick and tired of this. It has been waaay over the estimated time tables. This is ridiculous.
