Here's my current configuration:

I just ordered a 2080 Ti XC Ultra. Current card is a 1080 Ti FTW3. Since the 2080 Ti is (almost) a 3-slot cooler, there won't be much clearance between the bottom intakes and the 2080 Ti. The case is a Corsair 280X, which struggles with airflow. I've found that the bottom intakes help, but I'm not sure if it'd be better to let the 2080 Ti intake without the 2x120mm fans. I've heard that stacking fans can wear out bearings. I don't care about worn out bearings on replaceable LL120s, but I do care about the 2080 Ti cooler.

Thoughts?

Your CPU AIO blowing into the case or Out of the case ?

    Mini ITX build

I'd usually recommend the Blower style card or the Hybrid cards

The RTX 2080 Ti do put out more heat than the 1080 Ti

I take your point. I've been looking into alternate cases, but that would be a lot of additional work and expense. The current system works relatively well with the 1080 Ti. My question was specifically whether or not it makes sense to have 2x intake fans that close to the GPU, especially since the 2080 Ti heatsink will be even closer to them. Do you have any thoughts on that?
