I get a clicking sound even when the fans are not spinning (RTX 2070 Super - no overclocking) but louder when they are spinning. I reduced from 144 to 120 Hz on monitor but no change per poster suggestion i read. Sounds like maybe a fan bearing sound but why when the fans are idle and then louder when spinning ? My temps are good but I wonder whether this is a harbinger of future issues when warranty may be expired. Cannot see that any wires are the culprit.

I have same card got it b stock from evga. Has loud coil whine under load

My 2080ti FTW3 Ultra also has the annoying clicking sound. Can someone gimme fan curve please, Im new with that things but its drive me crazy. Look at icx right fan picture on gpuz;   edit Cool GTX fixed photo

I posted a fan curve and a description for the 2060 (in the 2060 KO noise thread). It might be useful here as well as an alternative to look at. The picture seems to be filtered and not visible whether attached or linked to. Is there some rule on which pictures are released and which are not? It is just a screenshot of the fan curve.

Okay thank u, I just use now default custom curve from that program and all fans are turning 1350rpm all the time on idle. My idle temp is 34C right now. What about gpu2 ? My gpu1 is 64C in game but gpu2 is 71C. Is that okay for 30 min farcry5 game? (Sorry english not well

Listen to this 2080 AMP Maxx I had. It makes all the Evga models appear silent. Listen towards the end especially @ 1:05

So after a year of use, i too am now getting the clicking noise. And only has been getting worse. In the beginning the clicks were barely noticeable, then after time louder and more consistent. So i did some of the following steps, blow a can of air on GPU to ensure dust wasn't the culprit, check outside wiring. But still the noise was going on...saw these forums and noticed a lot of us are getting the wire issue. So today i took the shroud out and saw the fan wire was a bit popping out. Took some tools and tried to push the wire more flat since they were twisting on he heatsink fin making it pop out towards the fan blade more. And slightly bent the 2nd and 3rd heatsink fin to give more room for me to pull the fan wires back towards the end of the card where they are plugged in. Attached are the pics and 2 videos of the "tinking" and "pinging" noise. Videos were before i took shroud off. Will do another video when i go home and reinstall the GPU and pray i dont have to RMA it, or return to microcenter. /watch?v=GbjYCFm0FRs /watch?v=NuDMBXoVxHY Just add the youtube before the links above and you will see when the fans start/stop the clicking.

If you are within warranty then you can make an RMA.
