So just got my new 2080 (08G-P4-3183-KR) put it in system, noticed default led color went to blue, looked fine. Fired up X1, instantly got led firmware update message, so I updated it.. after I noticed, no matter what color I set the LEDs too, one of the LEDs in the middle of the card stays the color green. It's like stuck. The rest of the LEDs respond like the should. Any firmware downgrade possible or other solutions, shame to rma for something so minute, on the other side €850,- should work..

I meant RTX 2080 SUPER XC Gaming.
P.S. I found out MSI Afterburner auto overclocks the card better than PrecisionX1 does.
I uninstalled PrecisionX1 restarted my pc and installed Afterburner.
My blinking red led theme for the video card stuck afte PrecisionX1's uninstall.
I say Afterburner is beter than PrecisionX1 as all my 3DMark scores went up slightly compared to the scores with PrecisionX1's overclock scores were.

I have almost the identical issue on the same model card, 08G-P4-2183-KR. I like the lights simple and actually keep it white most of the time. Now there is a single LED that, when the color is set to white remains green. If I set a color of blues or reds it changes properly. If I set say a rainbow effect, it changes properly in most of the spectrum until it approaches the yellows and teals at which point that on LED, between the "EVGA (insert green LED here) |  RTX 2080",  is obviously green. Same if setting static color to yellows/teals or white. So it seems for me it something to do with that range of color where it goes green.

@iPseudoNym, did you find the solution to the problem? I have the same issue on my RTX 2080 XC. That single green led bothers me when I set the lights to white.

@nha1_, unfortunately short answer is no. If I set the lights to white (which is what I prefer) that one led remains green. However as I noted, at least in my case, if I set color to red or blue it works as expected.
