So I have the 2080 SUPER XC2 Ultra and I have not changed any settings in the Power or hibernate mode yet now if the computer is not used with in a couple minutes the card seems to set the monitors in to hibernate. The pc is not in hibernate mode. I've run through every possibility I can think of to see why the monitors are going to hibernate and can't find anything.

When I try to get the monitors to come back on I have to have a chrome browser open and drag it from the left monitor to the middle monitor. I am not running in triple surround but left and right monitor seem fine but middle is the issue. Again, all three go black and hibernate for  no reason.

I just put in the latest driver from here and my pc is up to date.

Any tips?

video cards don't really hibernate - it's the motherboard, hard drives, OS software & monitors that can do that....
You must have missed a setting somewhere....There are some in your board BIOS, some in windows & some hard coded into some monitors...

good point..I think my Covid shot is making me forgetful. It's just weird that suddenly without me changing a setting anywhere the pc keeps going into this continued state of the monitors in hibernate. I've checked most of the things you mentioned but will relook later today.

You can completely turn off any power management to the PCIe slot by searching in the taskbar for Edit Power Plan and then click on Change Advanced Power Settings. Under PCI Express->Link State Power Management you can set it to off.

To confirm, are all of the monitors are attached to the same card? If so it would not be turned off or screensaver or timeout loading though as it would affect them all at once.

If you are running an extra program or driver for the center monitor it may be turning it off as we have seen on rare occasions where drivers or programs for monitors can make the monitor do things based on what is happing.  Due to that if you have any driver or program installed for the center monitor try uninstalling it and see if there is any change.
