Been folding on my Laptop (i7 7700HQ + 1070 Alienware 15R3), sense I need to perform limb surgery on my desktop for the dead Unifan. Will be back up and kicking tomorrow as I am off for 3 days.. thank GOD.

Main folding rig down. After powering it back up from the power outage it was running fine. Went to go to bed and it was in the bios. Looked at it this morning and it appears the new ssd has gone bad. **** during this contest.

EDIT: Did a quick check and found the sata power cable unplugged. Back up and running total time lost is about 14 hours.

It seems some bad mojo is working it’s way through the eastern team with you and Alex5500 experiencing issues.
Don’t blame me for this but keep an eye on Notfordman!

We was told you can be blamed for everything.
I should be ok as of now. Everything back up and running. Just took a 8 million point hit.

Sorry to hear some of you's are having problems. At least some are easy fixes. I defer to yodap...
Thanks for making a path for the rest of us EST. I hope a Mountain or something doesn't suddenly appear.

I must add mountain is a force with only four contestants.

Sorry that I haven't been able to get my folding rig up and running - things have been more than a bit crazy here.

Good thing it seems like Eastern doesn't miss my tiny contribution on its way to crushing the rest of the time zones this go round.

On their own they have always been a force to recon with being that most Folders here are from the East Cost.

Yes, when Zerran2001 created the first TZC I think there were actually more folders (or more folding points at least from team evga) in Central and for the first few years Central won a relatively close race with Eastern.  Eventually as word spread and more people signed up for the contest, the larger population in Eastern gave it a insurmountable advantage in a straight race.  At one point quite a few years back I was going to use population density to balance TZC points, but I guess I never actually implemented it.  We all know the mountain men are legendary for big points from a much smaller contingent.  This year's dominance, however, is unprecedented and we all know that it is clearly yodap's fault. Secondarily, you can blame notfordman as he was the one spreading the word this year (the first time ever that I didn't send a single PM!) and getting all those Easterners to sign up.

Took less than 5 minutes to complete each rig.
Sad though that I was never able to get a new (EVGA) 3090 or even a (EVGA) 3080 Ti Graphics Card this year.
All I wanted was the EVGA GeForce RTX 3090 FTW3 ULTRA HYDRO COPPER GAMING, 24G-P5-3989-KR, 24GB GDDR6X, ARGB LED, Metal Backplate
or maybe even the EVGA GeForce RTX 3090 K|NGP|N HYDRO COPPER GAMING, 24G-P5-3999-KR, 24GB GDDR6X, iCX3 Technology, HYDRO COPPER Cooler, OLED Display, Metal Backplate to go with my new EVGA Z590 DARK MB that is still in the Box waiting for a new GPU.

I am currently watching my end of month archiving of the last month of 2021 finish compressing 31 days worth of data down . . .

This marks the end of my 11th full year pulling hourly stats (With a few gaps here and there) for EVGA.

Specifically, it's 11 years, 1 month and 24 days, if anyone wants to bother counting that deeply.

That's a lot of individual hourly downloads for our teams numbers.  Some day I'm going to unarchive the collection to find out just how many individual hourly pulls that is that I managed.

Anywho, this is my winding and loopy way of saying 'Happy New Years' to my favorite folding team!  Love you guys! Keep on kicking but in 2022!

The last parts I need to get the last two rigs are now up and running.   Not sure what my PPD boost will be but, it'll be a 2060 and 2070.  I'm guessing another 3 million PPD roughly.

Always a pleasure, folks!  Just feels so weird that I can clearly, somehow (I was on some preeeeeety rough medication recovering from my 2nd back surgery - Valium and Codine. My neurologist did NOT mess around.) I clearly remember working through a way of providing hourly updates to the Chimp Challenge contest of 2010 along side of Zerran2001 which I somehow evolved into an Excel macro.  From there, I got curious about what it would take to get the team's stats more directly instead of a massively kluged excel spreadsheet.

I still USE parts of the macro from that first spreadsheet today, but only so I can keep a local copy of all the data I provide up to the Google sheet that Troy and I share for processing and display purposes.  In between, I have a custom VB program I wrote and rewrote a couple of times, that probably needs yet ANOTHER rewrite to make sure I've got as much functionality as it really deserves (Directory choosing, custom paths and the such)

I just get weirded out that it was back in 2010, not just a few weeks ago. *laughs*
