MST has an Issue troy

Only one contest entry is permitted per household.

MST has two members from one household (check the registration sheet) rolo42 and his wife safora

I don't have a problem with it , just that only one should be eligible for prizes.

I would be normally be folding 100% of the time but unfortunately I have been having lots of hardware issues. My main system with the 2 480s crashes when any of the cards are in, no matter what they are doing. Tried a 9800 in that comp and it works. BUT If I put the 480s in my other comp they run fine.....

Oh yeah my 560 2 win also just fried.

Life with PlayStation is being removed from the PS3, so no idea if I'll be able to contribute much to Team Central in that regard (Or any folding contests in the near future for that matter)...
My only other option is my old XP machine with a Pentium D 820 and EVGA 9800gt (Folding with my primary computer - an ASUS G53JW-XN1 laptop - is a no-no; I'd rather not drastically reduce its lifespan by having the CPU or GPU stressed 24/7).

...So..yeah.

Anyway, I'll look around to see if I have any game keys to donate for the giveaway.

Alright, folks, we're coming up on the signup deadline.  9PM EST on the 15th isn't so very far away at all.

Last year, we had just over 230 contestants in. Right now, we're looking at 122.  Get out the word! We have numbers to crunch!!

Also, this year, I'm going to be a bit of a stickler to the 9pm cutoff - Life has been jacking me around left and right, cutting into my ability to just throw down an hour or two on the stats, and I don't want to screw this up for anyone because they were expecting to get in after the cutoff.

So, you have approx 82 hours from this point - Spread the word like wildfire!  If you haven't signed up yet, and are waiting for some reason, DON'T!  Don't worry about having a perfect PPD average, just eyeball it and get your best guess in.

Now, to step back from the hardass side of things, I'm looking forward to this, and am hopeful to see EST hold onto our 'trophy'!

Fold on, Lads and Ladies!

Thanks for the "heads-up" Drougnor!

I've been wondering about something ever since I signed up and provided the PPD estimate info as part of that process.  What is that estimated PPD used for in this particular contest?  Is it used for PPD-balancing of Folders that live outside of the (4) time zones we use and need to be placed on a given TZ team based upon PPD estimates?

I see my PDP is increasing due to keplar.  I expect this to average out over the teams, expect that some peoples PDPs etsimates are below actual with no hardware changes.

The race is coming...

No no Dutchforce fold for CST!
Codebluetoo may have pleading, But I've got pom poms, Code may be in the spirit (or is that into the spirits), But CST has cheer, and reasonable assets.

Glad to help with the badges for those that want to use them and I appreciate the replies.  I'd hoped the badges would help us get the word out a bit more for the TZC 2012, but I don't think that worked out quite as I planned.

See 'yall in the arena after midnite this Thursday!  Should be great fun as always.

You don't seem too Shy Kal.  At an average of 1 post per 2,360 points I guess your an expert ( see post 71), personally I like my triple post, one per subject.  Lets put our points where our posts are.  See ya in the next time zone.  Challenge.

TZC might be expanding here
so there may be a delay to the start
and I don't know if troy is considering a higher point total

Me and troy are working on bringing other teams onboard
(they would not be eligble for prizes) but can participate
they would use their own user name, EOC and team number

lot of work to put drougnor thru (so give him some praise)

next year I think the TZC could be completely inter-team
each team could have their own internal prizes
and we could work on establishing a community prize pool

Oooh, extra teams to have to throw into the stats pool?  Veeeery interesting. Time to crack out my solution for the CC and brush it up a bit, I see.  Do we have any ideas on the number of teams yet?
