this is my first time winning here at EVGA also, I thought it was never gonna happen. Perfect timing I burnt out a gts 450 superclocked card during the chimp challenge. Hoping for a 560 or something close to my 450. Im folding due to the cancer, diabetes, and other related health issues that have taken loved ones. Fold on people, its for a good cause. Thanks again

The first link you have is everyone that qualified for the prize drawing by folding for the CC and posting a screenshot.

The second link is the order that the eligible people get to pick a prize from the prize donation list.

Wait for the 23 people in front of you to pick a prize, then pick a prize that hasn't been claimed from the prize pool:

Shadow - The handicap was straight math - 1/100th of a percent of total team production over 5 months.  On the surface, that's fine.  Everyone's base performance as a percentage.

Realistically, where it became so detrimental to us is the percentages game.  We have so many people in our team that produce such high numbers, that when you compared how other teams were able to ramp up production to their chimp themed team, we had no chance.

to me, it's simply that this year was the trial run of a new method, errors were found in the assumptions, we make adjustments and see what happens next time around.

There are already several great ideas how to tackle things next time around, but it all depends on what the captains of all the teams can agree on.

And if I came off a bit strong, I do apologize.  Got kinda fed up with how often things about the points handicap were being thrown around in an angry way, when the whole goal is to promote the science . . . . you monster.

Ok, yeah, I REALLY need to put in some more Portal 2 time.  Get that out of my system.

Maybe after everyone gets together to hash out the rules etc and how to calc the points for next year, we can have a 2 day trial run under those rules to see if they work, not work, maybe we like some parts and not others etc... even though we didnt like the way it was setup this year, for us, theres still valuable data in there that we need to really look at, collectively!!! we have a year to figure this out with all the other teams and im sure they want to win "JD" monkey under the fairest conditions posssible also. i think a couple quick trial runs with maybe 10 people on each team, to see what happens and to see the new rules under live testing, then analyze, fix and reapply the fixed rules for another quick test is the only way to get this down. we really need to get a fair set of rules that all teams can stick with because this event gets alot of notice and participation. in the grand scheme of things its enjoyable to everyone to be competitve, but to know that all that work in the end is going to linger on as research that could have taken years to get done had we not had a event like this. 5 years from now this might be a huge event...so we really need to put a little more effort in to get it right guys. im totally willing to work on this with you guys if ya need the help. just shoot me a pm! whatever i can do i will do.

19 - best place yet!   I'm hoping for the one remaining GTX 260 to make it through the next three people to get to me...but then again, I won't be using my desktop much once I get my Alienware m14x, and the PPD increase isn't that much over my 8800GT...hmm...
