This thread... people several pages back were posting that their newegg preorders shipped last night, meaning stock got to newegg. I didn't say enough hit for there to be some in stock for normal orders, mind you :P

They arrived!!! Now all I need is EK to release the water blocks for them..
Unfortunately ekwb will not have the full cover water blocks available until early to mid June...i posted a request over on overclock.net asking if ek sold any full cover water blocks that were compatible to the ftw3. Havnt got a reply yet.
This is pretty much my exact build, Jediexpress! That's so cool. If you wouldn't mind telling me how you fare with that Edition 10 headphone amp, I'd love to hear about it. I upgraded my mobo last year to this one and tried to ditch my Xonar STX but the amp they ship with it never worked right. Sadly the ROG forum users tell similar stories. The driver was in beta for forever and even though they say it isn't anymore, it still doesn't work. Anyway, I won't rant here about it, but I'd be curious to know if your experience is better. Either way, after all that nonsense from them, I'll tell you that ASUS isn't even on my radar anymore. Done throwing money at those fools. If they can't support a flagship product like that then there's no point in giving them more business. EVGA offers a much better customer service experience.
@mods - sorry for the off-topic rant. Saw the picture and just had to know. Newegg says they're going to get me my card by 5/11!!! 24 hours to go!!

Anyone know what standard shipping means?
It means that mine has been sitting in a UPS warehouse 90mi away for two days waiting to be delivered tomorrow because I didn't pay the 2-day extortion price. You don't pay for FASTER delivery. You pay to not have it artificially held to punish your cheapness.

I'm really considering cancelling my Amazon (UK) pre-order... doesn't look good to be honest. In a few months Volta will be released (speculation). I've waited this long might as well hold out a little longer and get the best of the best. This is all becoming a joke lmao

Not true, I had nearly $1,400 in parts from Newegg, delivered by FedEx, and they left it at my door. Their tracking page indicated "signature not required"

Well... all is well. Got the mod to my case completed and the card installed. Had to cut out a section of some of the drive bays that were designed into the case. Took a little while, but all is well and everything is running great. My computer is a closed case (no window) with sound dampening anyway, so I wasn't too worried about the changes I had to make to it to get this monster to fit in there.

Well I've been quite for a few days. My first card comes in on Friday. and my second should be coming in on Monday. And my HB Bridge should be coming on Tuesday. I would of already had it but I screwed up and ordered the wrong length EVGA was great and did an exchange all I had to do was pay for return shipping. So tomorrow I need to make a change in my current computer. I ain't waiting for the new computer to get built I want to play with these cards when I get them. My current computer is all custom water cooled with rigid tubing. So I'm going to have to drain my loop and make a tube from my res to my cpu so I can use the cards on air. That's if I can find my tubing.

It was a length problem. There were some drive bays on the right that didn't leave enough room for the card (needed about 2cm or so). So I moved one of my SSDs to a lower drive bay slot, got out my tools and cut a section out of the drive bays that was big enough for the card. Fit perfectly in place when I was done. I used a sound dampening side panel, so I can't see into the box anyway. Not a big deal. Besides... I call my machine "The Falcon"... she might not look like much, but she's got it where it counts. ;)

So many different answers from Amazon. I didn't get a date. I did however get a $150 discount.  Only reason I'm keeping my order now cause I was about to cancel and get an Asus Strix locally from Fry's.
