If the date of May 12nd is right, that's a big bummer. Remember how Jacob said unlike the SC2, the "FTW3 is on track" right?. Also, May 12nd is Friday, wich basically means the week of the 15th just to start getting them processed. 
 
I've been all my life a loyal asus customer and this is being very weird for me. This will be both my first evga product and my first time ever preordering any kind of pc hardware, and so far, all i've been reading this time of people praising on the EVGA customer support doesn't seem quite accurate.
 
If they can't seem to organize themselves when we want to pay them 850€ cards, why should i expect a good and quick customer support when i want to RMA my card?
 
And don't get me wrong, i wouldn't care about waiting if we were told the truth from the beginning, instead of so much silence and unrealiable statements.
 

Still nothing about my pre order from the EU -.- the lack of information is really annoying...

Looks like this is going to be another **** card instead of FTW... Just like the first batch of 1080's
 
EDIT: OMG censoring that is sad beyond belief....

Honestly, it's a bit of reverse thinking on your part, to think that because you didn't get your card within seconds of release, that it will effect how good the card is.  It has nothing to do with the hardware, those of you bashing the card due to a ton or pre-orders not being able to be processed within seconds need to relax.  I have a 9 year old with more patience.

When you click through to the order the times are in PDT (currently UTC-7), so in Spain it will be your time -9, which would mean you ordered around 2:25am local time on the 29th for you?
 
It's certainly in PDT for me (order shows 10:10, I ordered at 18:10 local (UK)).

Oh is that why my order time is so strange? It's really early in the morning, before I would be awake. Must be US time? I tried doing mine the second it went live in the UK (like 6 or 7PM) but every time I tried to pay it kicked me back to my basket. Worked the next day and still said Shipping Estimate 1st May though.

Keyword here is estimate. Nothing say for sure. I understand all of the frustration but be patient. Also for the EU orders there may be a problem getting the cards through customs which would cause additional time to be added to the shipping. Just be patient.

Already says elsewhere in this thread, i'm not too bothered if shipping is not correct to the exact day, but if it's two weeks late and they don't tell us until AFTER the original date has gone...pretty poor service.

I don't know, i got the email informing about the preorder the 28th at like at 12:30 AM or something like that, i remember it was late in the night, and managed to finish the order something close to 1:30-2:00 AM?
 
How could you have preordered it at 18 PM? I think there's some weird mix of timezones in our invoices.

18 doesn't refer to 18pm it's 6pm in 24 hour clock time.
 
What you said roughly ties in with what I said, you listed your order time at 5:25pm, you are in Spain so that means you actually finished the order at 2:25am your time on 29th March.
5:25pm PDT = 2:25am CEST
 
My order time says 10:10am, I am in the UK, I finished my order at 6:10pm UK time.

Well they haven't opened yet for the day another hour before that happens I hope they get their head in the game today and not like it was yesterday.  But it is already known that orders are going to going out all this week so I won't be surprised mine won't go out until the end of the week knowing my luck which is very frustrating If it wasn't for the build quality of FTW3 I would of just went with a pair of Asus cards last night but those cards are reporting to have coil whine on their fans and other problems so I am going to stick this one out and hope for the best

Kinda feel sad now but its at least something

I just spoke to an Amazon UK assistant, they've apparently contacted their supplier and are looking to get the whole EVGA line up a little earlier. They've had some angry customers who are annoyed at the lack of availability and no estimated shipping date. The listing has been stuck on "temporarily out of stock" for the past 2 weeks, no estimate or anything. People who have pre-ordered aren't happy. Whoever is supplying them directly is extremely slow, I think they'll be one of the last to get any of these cards in stock. Doesn't look good to be honest. Really considering ordering from SCAN right now so I get it on the 13th May (theoretically if they get the shipment on the 12th).

From that post, it sounds to me like the EVGA did not receive their full order and sent out what they had. I wish they would stop playing games and just tell us the truth. 
 

Yeah that's what I think too. History repeating itself, same situation as the GTX 1080's.

Hi, seen a post by EVGA_JacobF. Just curious if EVGA is still planning on shipping cards out today or if they are on hold till Thursday or Friday
 
Andrew A: Unfortunately yesterday was only an estimated ship date for the FTW3 and it may get shipped out today but if not then it will be shipped out sometime this week. Once your credit card has been charged by us then we will ship it out.
