Not gonna lie, I'm bummed mine didn't get shipped out. EVGA is really slow on getting their stuff out it seems.

Gotta love it.  EVGA can't even send a simple email stating they had a delay or that the cards wouldn't ship today.  Communication is incredibly easy, rebuilding a company's reputation is not.

Does anybody know if we'll be getting game codes for Wildlands or For Honor with our cards?

I'm honestly not even mad about the card not shipping.  It's more upsetting knowing they had plenty of time to let people know, Jacob stated "on track" and here were are seeing half the orders shipped and half of us with no idea whats going on.  And you're right, someone will tell me all about how I'm the ungrateful one and I'm just lucky to be graced with EVGA's hardware in my life.  I just want some communication.  How about a forum post after the fact?  Something?

Agreed all they had to do was give an ETA shipping date via the order time. If they couldn't make them all happen today at least give different ETA's on shipping. Its 5pm PST now and its still showing an ETA of shipping today. Change it already so we know its not today.

guys, that's why they used the word 'estimated.' they made their best estimate, and got out as many as they could by that day - they can't know ahead of time how many they can get out. there are a lot of factors at play - and considering that there were enough preorders to bring down the site, they probably had a lot on their hands.

and thinking that giving updated estimates is easy doesn't take into the sheer scale of the operation. telling 10 guys that their order isn't going out would be easy; doing the same for 100/1000 or whatever it is, is harder. not impossible, but it is work - effort they are probably better off spending on actually getting orders out the door.

you could say well they could have at least told some of us that our order isn't going out - but really, you have to tell everyone or no one, because once people start getting updates and others don't, those others call in and ask questions - which I'm sure they're glad to answer, but it can easily get overwhelming at a time that they are obviously already busting their butts / stretched to the limit.

this is all easy for me to say - looks like my order just barely made it out today. but id like to think that if i weren't that lucky, id still be able to cut these guys some slack.

cancel if you need to, give up on evga if you want to, just saying that that might be a little hasty. they're a little slower to release than some competitors, but after the 1080 fiasco i can't say i blame them - they probably are doing their absolute best to get this as right as they can.

I'm not aware of any promise to EU buyers about a May 1st ship date. Most 0eople in this forum are from the US and provide information for the US by default. Unfortunately evga.com only covers US and Canadian information and timeframes. The EU website deals with that information and they must rely on the US to ship the cards to them in the first place. They might know the average transit time, but probably don't want to risk miscommunication due to stricter EU regulations.

I wouldn't mind so much if we were just told of this. Waiting isn't the problem, it's not knowing what is going on.

I don't know if any of you have seen this but This is a post from EVGAJacob 2 hours ago from another thread i am following:      "Hey guys, update here.

We are working to ship out a significant amount of the early preorders today, those of you may have noticed some updates on your order.

The remaining orders we are working to ship out within the next few days, will continue to provide updates. All are scheduled to ship this week".    
 
I thought I would post a copy of it here just in case anybody hasn't seen it.

Super excited about this, sorry to those that are going to have to wait a bit longer to get their cards but you won't be disappointed I'm sure.

2017/03/28 10:15:38  I ordered two ftw3.
Not shipped..  Not worried because I still need to wait for EK to release waterblocks, hopefully later this month.. I'm also changing the cpu/mobo (have monoblock) and ram.
