I know there is absolutely no guarantee based on the past. That aside, based on what has happened in the past. If purchasing a 1080ti FE, can you upgrade/step up to the custom cards upon release?

    We do not yet know if the overclocked GTX 1080 Ti cards will be on the Step Up list. Generally non-reference cards are not added to the Step Up list based on my experience.
