Would of been sweet if he released a bios for the elite ftw3.. 11G-P4-6797-K1. Been stuck using the hybrid bios where I cant max out my memory to 13ghz+.

Yep exactly what I said there will be no fix then 2080 will drop and all is forgotten. EVGA washed their hands on this long ago and blamed Nvidia. Sad partnership and sad customer support. I want to think better of both but they have made it hard to. If we learned anything here it's don't ever buy anything but the reference edition as all else is unsupported and over priced.

This is also my key takeaway from this whole fiasco. Just buy a reference edition especially when you're slapping a waterblock on it. Overpriced non-reference cards aren't worth it with this stupid support from EVGA. This is my first EVGA card and I'm not sure if I will buy another one from them in the future.

It's possible with a FE with a good chip and a FTW with an average one.
But the FTW has more VRMs than an FE card and more TDP headroom, so with a good chip on a good FTW you'd get better results than on the same chip on a FE card :)

while my other card is running a stock vbios? (I do not have the number for my stock ftw3)
Did evga send me a ftw3 elite? Because even the switches on these cards are different
Top card- ftw3... Switch: Normal/OC
Bottom card- ftw3... Switch: Master/Slave

Per your suggestion, I ran Superposition 8K optimized, and looks like I hit the power limit after flashing the 6696 BIOS to my 6694 from the guide in the OP. Looks like even on the new 41.92, it was power limiting me at 117% on the Slave BIOS, compared to the BIOS listed in OP. I'm truly being power-limited to 127%, now!

The instructions on how to flash a 6696 card is listed in the first post of this thread. If you're trying to identify your card you should be able to see if it's a 6696 version by looking at the part # listed on the back of the card on the serial number sticker.

ok this is strange i swap to my normal bios, becouse on my 1080ti ftw i don't have slave ,just normal and oc but swapping to normal on precision x i'm still able to reach tdp of 127%, what's going on? edit. nvm was my mistake edit 2 : i flash the bios now i reach 127tdp :D

Does anyone have a working link to the 6696/6698 BIOS? The link to Kingpin's forum is dead. If it's already been posted, my apologies for not digging through the 36 pages. TIA **EDIT** I found the TechPowerUP page, but I think I'd still like to try the Kingpin version.
