I am curious... I got my email confirming my entry into the queue for my step-up on 3/10 at 11:46 am PST and have not gotten a message that i'm at step 2 for payment.  Seems a lot of people that were about that time already got their payments processed.  Anyone else in the same boat I am?

I put mine two 1080 Classifieds in for the step-up program at about the same time you did.  I got the step 1 emails shortly after that.  Three days ago I got the notice for step 2, the payment, on one card.  I paid it the same day.  I got the notice that it was approved and got the ok to send it in for the step-up the next day.  Yesterday I got the notice that my second card had been approved for step-up and to send in payment.  I just did that this evening.  I assume I'll get the Ok to send in the second card tomorrow.  I may send both back in the same package.

So..., you should be getting your next step emails very shortly.

I was surprised a bit because I read somewhere that EVGA was out of the 1080ti's and wouldn't receive any until the 25'th.  Perhaps they know how many they are getting in and sent out enough step-up emails so that they can have the returned cards inspected and ready when they get the next shipment..., or I could be wrong and they do have stock on hand.

Anyway, I think you should be hearing from EVGA rather soon.

Just to toss a few reasons why some trickle out from time to time...

There are many reasons why one person is further in the process than another after the initial batch is exhausted. Some CC charges are unsuccessful. Step Up requests are denied. Step Up requests are cancelled (We have seen at least four folks in the last few days in various threads announce that they cancelled their Step up in order to hold out hope for an SC), sometimes they adjust allocations. And sometimes the original shipment was short and the balance comes in a day or two later.

In other words. Try not to stress to much or align yourself to others timelines and think you might be getting the short end of a deal. EVGA works hard to get GPU's out as fast as they can. I mean after all... It is their bread and butter right?!

I should have probably asked sooner, but is it Ok to send both of my cards back to EVGA in the same package, or should I send them in separately?  I'm thinking that one package should be less money than two smaller ones.

As long as you clearly identify both RMA's on  the outside of the shipping box and each box inside and package them well. I understand that it is OK  to do that.

Mine was 1pm :( lol I'm pretty sure you would at least be next batch. Swore I did it sooner than that though, like noon but my email says otherwise. I guess I was reading too much cause I was actually home early at 11am lol.

Exactly what I did. One package with both my 1080ftw's. Wrote both rma's on the box and also on each card's box inside. No problem and got an ok from evga before I sent them out. Getting my new cards shipped now (icx upgrade then I'll do the ti step up eventually)

Mailing my 1080 SC ACX tomorrow (for the ICX upgrade). I have a few questions.

What will my step-up value be on the ICX since I applied before 1080 ti released? I read it will be the original ICX price. Second, is there any point waiting for an SC or FTW step-up? Or go ahead and queue for Founder's Edition? Is there any chance those will be on there?

You will get the value of whatever is on your original invoice for Your SC ACX ICX. Not what they cost now.
If you will be water cooling then The FE is fine and probably the best way to go. Only reference GPU's are eligible to be stepped up to. Usually The FE only but sometimes the SC will be available for step up. The FTW will definitely not be available for step up since it's not reference as far as I know. At least the FTW Gaming is not reference for sure. I wouldn't hold out for anything other than An FE or SC reference becoming available for step up and The SC isn't even a sure thing.

Thanks. I guess I'll just get the FE and get a Hybrid cooler once they release it.

Yes. "Soon".

Sorry, had to do it. Normally they come in waves. Each release is different. Normally a member will see the "purchase now" button turn green, buy what they want and then come tell us. Sometimes EVGA will tell us they have a batch as well...  They used  to tell us a target date, but if the shipment did not show up, folks turned awfully mean. Sooooo they try and stay quiet for the most part and just let it all happen as it comes.

My 1080 Hybrid is finally arriving to EVGA today. Only took a week! Hopefully EVGA can get my Ti out early next week. Going with the EK single slot block when it comes out first week of April. Can't wait!

You got in almost the exact same time as me. Your original post in this thread is just a few ahead of mine and I think your times are about the same as mine except maybe when they received your old card. They got mine a day earlier than yours. They sent mine out yesterday around 4 or 5 PM and mine will be here Wednesday using only standard ground. I didn't get my shipping info from EVGA till this morning though. I only knew it was sent out yesterday because of I'm a MyUSPS member and it alerts me when I have a package coming to my address. I got that alert soon as they shipped it yesterday but like I said I didn't get any information from EVGA till this morning. So yours will most likely ship today but you won't get the information till late tonight or tomorrow morning.
Go sign up For UPS account and turn on shipping notifications and you can get the same early alerts. It's free if you don't use any of the paid services. Just sign up For the MyChoice account and enter your shipping address and turn in text and /or email alerts. It's worth the effort.

I've not seen a single person that has gotten their new card shipped the same day. Everyone so far in this thread and other's have been the next business day. Sorry, but it will almost definitely be Monday.

I wouldn't completely rule out with it being a Friday. They may work harder to get as many out as they can before the weekend but it's a long shot. I hope I'm wrong for your sake. I know the waiting sucks. I bought the New Zelda game for the Wii U for the same reason, lol. Been using it to hold me over till I get My Ti in. I still have 2 780Ti's in my system but I'm refraining from playing any PC games till I get the 1080 TI in. I'll probably even finish The Zelda game before I even put my new card in Wednesday when it gets here. I'm really loving it. It's right up there With Ocarina Of Time as my all time favorite.

Shipping is a bit ridiculous on pricing but they don't have the volume or all the extra warehouses all over the country to get the better deals With UPS And FedEx like the huge companies such as Amazon or Newegg. They aren't making any money from it, it's just what it costs them. Their prices are probably the exact same as if we were sending something. Sucks but it is what it is.

Yes, 3 day... I wanted to time all to receive on a Monday or Tuesday which are my days off. These are also the only days I have time to install. If the card arrived on a Wednesday, I'd have to wait for the following Monday to install. So, it will arrive and go in the box (and get burned in) on Tuesday! :-)

Probably months, when I went from 980ti SC to 1080 step up, it took 3 months, I submitted on day 1, at around 2 months they ended up upgrading everyone to the 1080 SC for free cuz of the delay

I don't think it will be as bad as the 980/ti to 1080 myself. The 1080 TI is basically a slightly stripped Down Titan XP so they have had many months to build up stock from Titan XP chips that didn't make the cut. I say they have been building up a good stockpile. I'm sure it will still be a month or more for some due to the retail sales getting priority over step up's but for some reason I don't think it will be near as long as the last round.

I actually want a longer queue time if I'm being honest. I like my 1080 HCs and really don't want to put a Titan X block on these guys. My ideal would be getting through queue once the 1080 Ti water blocks are released (or, unrealistically, the 1080 Ti HCs are released and I can buy two of those and sell the step up FEs).
