SO once again my 1080 FTW has gone up in flames after getting it replaced once already.

Id assume its the dreaded VRM that everyone else has had issues with while I'm happy it didn't take my whole rig with it when I talked to support they said there is nothing they can do since the warranty is out but this is not something I caused its a factory issue yet its not covered by some extended warranty or something? Its happened twice and now I'm stuck without a gpu and a market that doesn't contain any normal priced cards.

Ive always been all for EVGA but this is really depressing and leaves me with literally no options and a rather expensive paper weight.

That must really suck, I feel for you.... but nobodies warranties can extend forever or they'd all be out of business.  And unfortunately this has happened at the worst time in history in finding any video cards at reasonable prices for a replacement.
