Nice to know we can whip butt in raw points but when handicapped... wow... I'm applying for coveted parking! Good lord. Oh well, frankly it's just funny to me. We handicap teams so others can show how good they are.... provided we hamstring the better team so the other teams can keep up.
All said and done, you can keep the jade monkey, or get it from whom ever won last year. I don't need it... have no desire for it and now seeing the latest update, I'm just laughing at it.
It's a worthless trophy.
Winning it seems only means we've skewed the numbers enough so that the best team can't win.
Keeping on folding on!
I'm just folding... I intend to reach the top 100 in a year... that is all I really want to do.

Madness with insanity is one thing. Madness with rage and hatred is another. I swore the Chimp Challenge off in 2011. I intend to honor that. Plus, I see no point in running in a contest where no matter what I do, it won't change the outcome. Not to mention I don't have any spare hardware to risk. All my laptops are down short of one, and even it's just barely limping. I lose one more bit of hardware and I'm out for the count.

Well, with all the hardware I have going, I don't feel I have any at risk. And I'm not going to get butthurt over how it's all measured. Mind you, I may be disappointed or frustrated. But it won't affect my outlook on any given day.
I'm just happy to have contributed almost 200,000pts so far and 172 WUs!

That's the spirit  Though I do try and have fun with it. Thousands of folders taking extra effort and time out of their lives during this event deserve it. After all, we are one "Big team".... Now if I can just find out why both my 4p's are working tiny little PPD units I will be a bit happier...  (And yes I know it is the luck of the draw but we are racing people!)... lol

Recheck your config. client-type bigadv or bigbeta depending on how you are flying max-packet-size big

Thanks John! And thank you Viper... Viper is correct. Thursday of last week both servers started getting -bigadv and -bigbeta... Got a second set late Friday... Finished those on Saturday, in fact one of them was an 8105... Here are the reports, as far back as they go. Maybe I just did not get credit for one or two of them? They only take 36 hours to process... Server 1 is basically just getting 8101's. Maybe I am not completing them in time? http://img834.imageshack../img834/1811/server1.pdf Server 2 got an 8105, then got an 8104 that looks like I did not get credit for either it or the 8105 yet? http://img407.imageshack../img407/2394/server2.pdf Basically, I got credit for "One" yesterday, should see two today, and got credit for two Late Saturday. I figured no points on Sunday would mean two drops on Monday, but I only got one... And because I see a lot of small points hitting, I wondered if I was only getting small stuff on the servers. Now that I am at the office (Never came to my office yesterday, was with wife at the Hospital) I see in fact they are only working -big***

Well I processed two of them between Thursday and today. I thought I got points ofor one of them on Saturday... Maybe not. It all has to get done.  I am just happy I am able to help, points or not. On one hand I use the points to measure the effort, on the other I do not care. Weird, I know

Nah, I was at 1.7 mill when I started back up again on Saturday. Hadn't folded in ... years. Stats on the left of these pages are behind. Last I checked I was at 1.9+ mill. Stats haven't been available for a little while now and I don't think the CC numbers have changed for a couple of hours. ANYWAY - thanks! All this folding is making normal operation on all these PCs around the house sluggish, though.

I highly recommend 3 in 1 Oil for them sluggish CAT6 lines!

Is it just me, or is the official contest tracking page not updating? The backup one seems to have a +13M points more for our team that the official one.

After it is set up, after you reboot and open a terminal.
You do not have to type anything. Just hit the up arrow key and it will show the last command entered.
It it twice it brings up cd ~fah Hit enter,
Hit the up arrow again it brings ./fah6 -smp -bigadv, hit enter.
It's that easy, less chance to make a mistake.
