Hello everyone. Can you tell me where pl1 /pl2 is configured in the Bios of the z690? Unfortunately, I didn't find it. in the stress test of the osst power , my i5 13500 processor consumes 180 watts at a temperature of 82 , but as I understood it, intel claimed 150 watts for this process.I want to change the pl2 and make it smaller (now it's probably on a car or something)

    I do not have a Z690 to check

    Which Z690 MB?  Classy or Dark ?

    Which BIOS version?

    Did you do a deep dive of both the BIOS & Eleet X1?

    I think - in generic terms

    PL1 = base CPU multiplier

    PL2 = Turbo Multiplier

    Hello.
    once again, in more detail

    z690 Classy
    bios 2.12

    Could you tell me where in the Bios of the z690 Classy is pl1/pl2? Unfortunately, I didn't find it. in the stress test in the OCCT program, my i5 13500 processor consumes 180 watts at a temperature of 82 degrees, although its specification is stated by Intel 154w.  is it correct that I changed the CPU POWER LIMIT to 145w in the bios? by default, it is set automatically (as I understand it, it is 4096w)

    do I need to change something else in the bios?

    after the changes in the stress test, it looks like this

    I would like to clarify if I did everything right? thanks for your reply

    Sorry I cant give details - I do not own one of these MB

    Looking in the forums I found
    recommended initial voltage and mild OC steps - EVGA Forums

    different CPU in the thread , but look at the link in this post  https://forums.evga.com/FindPost/3560406

    Very good Alder Lake CPU information & it covers Adaptive Voltage Mode

    Maybe another EVGA member who owns one of these MB can post some good information about their settings

    If your goal is to simply restrict the CPU's ability to use more power than the Intel spec, then you're doing it right by setting the power limit to 145 (or whatever you specify) as you have done in the "CPU Power Limit" setting.

    I believe the BIOS for this does PL1=PL2 and cannot be changed. You can just set what that combined value is (which is the power setting you have found).
