congrats. You're the first.    We want to see the lights...

Looks like I'll need to wait a couple weeks to get my 1 slot HB EVGA bridge. Thats ok, I can use a ribbon bridge until then.

Very nice.  I assume that 660 is working as a physics card?  How is that working for you?

Actaully no, it's just there because I have 4 monitors and 3 of them are dual link DVI only so I needed a card with 2x DVI ports and the GTX 660 fit the bill. When 2 cards are in SLI you can only plug monitors into the top card and the 1080s obviously only have a single DVI port so I can only use the one. Hence the need for a 2x DVI card. And I got a 660 because anything newer only has one DVI port.

I don't see to many physx games anymore but if I do, I'll do some tests, but I'm thinking it might be better just to have the 1080s do the physx as well.

Yeah that is the direction I went with my 1080's (no extra physics card).  I have 3 spare 780's and was thinking of trying one of them as a physics but I am not sure if it would help or hurt.  I might just need to try it.

Size 1 EVGA HB bridge. not available for another week or 2.

Use a ribbon bridge as a stop gap until you can get a HB bridge

Got my HB bridge yesterday. Disappointed that the LED on the bridge is way brighter than the LED's on the ACX 3.0 cards. The brightest settings on the ACX cards is about 20% brightness on the bridge.

How do you change the color on the bridge?  I don't see any options to do it in the LED Visualizer in Geforce Experience, and I know of no other way to mess with your card or bridge LED's.

There is a switch on the bridge.

Would there be any point in using this bridge with two way SLI on Titan X's if you are gaming in 4k?

Nope.

Could you elaborate, what resolutions are these recommended for? I was going to get two of the pascal titans and put them in SLI and use an ultrawide monitor at 3440 x 1440 at 100hz. Are they only needed for the GTX 1080 series? What if I want one for aesthetics? Should I get an older EVGA sli bridge? I was planning on getting an ROG Rampage V Edition 10, with the cards on slots 1 and 3. I think the correct bridge would be a 1 slot spacing, can anyone clarify?

4k 120-144Hz, 4k surround, 5k+. If you want to purchase a hb bridge you'll need a 3-slot bridge.

Thanks for the information, I appreciate it.

On this page evga.c*m/articles/01020/evga-pro-sli-bridge-hb/
I see 0,1,2,4 slot spacing. I'm assuming you were referring to the 2 slot spacing at 80mm?

And here is what I did with Nvidia HB Sli Bridge and EK Waterblock:

I just simply unscrewed bridge and cut pointy parts:

And used double side taped the cap back to the base:

It is little bit getto, but it works (including LED) :) Plus I use Cosmos II Case, you don't really see these things.
