The 364.47 WHQL has been replaced with the 364.51 BETA on nVidia's site (but with the same release notes). I would expect the change to the GFE site and GFE itself to occur shortly...

People are seriously using GFE still? Wow.. so, I wonder if anyone is having these issues that haven't installed bloatware from NVidia..

There are and other way... You are amazed with drivers, stability and smooth gaming and you don't look in Radeon kitchen.
If I need to pay 1000 euro for card and for 12 months performance to drop rapidly than I will rather to pay Fury X with 8GB for 2-2.5 years.
Always was everything about performance, but I didn't dream that I will think what will happen with graphics for 12 months.
NVIDIA could lose a lot of customers if TITAN X owners recognize that their card is close to AMD or worse in DX12.
We didn't had such situation before. AMD make bad and good product but they never intentionally leave strong chips behind medium only because marketing and better selling. They didn't done than even for 3-4 years old cards.
Why someone who bought GTX980Ti need to have same performance as R9-390X or weaker in DX12...
Only to NVIDIA sell him Pascal? And AMD launch new cards and their need customers even more and again they didn't done something like that.

Read the FAQ on the issues:

http://www.evga.com/suppo...mmain.aspx?faqid=59627

Interim solution from Nvidia, select a custom install and choose the clean install option

I always thought Custom and Clean install were best practice, why do it any other way ?

Also I only install Graphics & PhysX

They Pulled 364.47 from NVIDIA's web site.
GeForce Game Ready 364.51 WHQL drivers is now missing.

"PeterS@NVIDIA"
As some of you have already noticed and thanks in large part to your help in getting us information about the critical installation issue that some people endured, we have replaced yesterday’s driver (364.47) with today’s new driver (364.51).

This driver has been submitted to Microsoft for WHQL-approval and we will update the driver package online as soon as it's certified.  At that point we'll create a new feedback thread for the WHQL driver.  In the meantime feel free to continue using this thread for 364.51 feedback.

Thanks again for all of the constructive feedback, it made a difference.

The reason the drivers were pulled was because they supposedly could break your card.

I hope Nvidia will admit there was an issue and honour claims in the future if any.

Remember that time when NVIDIA installed the add/remove function that ejected video cards and everyone was terrified of damage, and it didn't actually do anything at all. Seems like bugs are becoming NVidia's specialty, lol.

I keep getting the feeling that we, the customers, are paying money just to do the QA for the manufacturers.
be it OS, drivers, games or what so ever and I don't like that feeling as the products are already way overpriced but never customer ready.

I knew that problem is with driver immediately when I start other game and when same happen.
First I thought maybe is problem because I installed several mods for game.
If some problem persist that will manifest in my PC 100%, usually I don't have problem with NVIDIA drivers.
But this was obvious from first minute that driver is useless. Off course first time and during uninstallation I need to restart motherboard twice because stuck on code AE. First I uninstall PhysX than Sound Driver and restart... in that moment AE code happen and I need to restart twice.
I never had that before.

I agree with you but this is what a customer does when they purchase an item, be it food, clothes, PC components etc., what i have a problem with, well one of the things anyway, is the fact that some companies do not admit to they may have or have done something that was wrong and has or could have created a problem for the customer and properly compensate the customer.

Who is to say that the 364.47 driver, which has now been pulled from the line-up of downloadable Nvidia drivers, has done something to a random/all GPUs that had it installed but the problem doesn't show up right away.
