I just updated to these drivers. I noticed that with SLI enabled, I am able to use DSR now. Is this a new feature with this driver? I don't believe it was in the previous version.

I just updated and noticed that Vulcan Run Time Libraries 1.0.3.0 was installed.....has Nvidia incorporated Vulcan API in their driver? I have not done any testing on the driver's performance as yet, i will post some time later with an update. EDIT: Played some games for two hours and i use a multi-monitor set up but only game on one monitor while the others will have like virtualDJ running some tunes and or have PrecisionX's monitor displaying the figures and all seems fine so far, wish i had an sli setup to see if i get any issues. The 144hz issue where the GPU's GPU clock idle state increases from 135mhz with 60hz to just over 800mhz with 144hz with more than one monitor but goes away with only one monitor is still there. I installed via the clean install choice. Nice driver IMO.

As far as I am aware Vulcan is scheduled to be fully supported by the newer NVIDIA video cards and there are drivers in development. I don't know if the drivers in my post above have complete Vulcan functionality yet or are simply being tested. However it does seem that NVIDIA is moving forward quickly with this support.

Looks like Vulcan API is supported with these drivers so NVIDIA has beaten AMD with the release.

So far on my 980, Titans, 690, and 970m I have not seen any issues with this driver install. Added 780 installed as well with no problems or issues noted.

I have multi-monitors and as suggested unplugged them during driver installation, then plugged them back it, and that seemed to work OK (I figured I'd risk it, it's about time for a reformat anyway)

bcavnaugh So what is vulkaninfo32 and vulkaninfo even for? They are simply command-line EXEs that run feature list queries and responses so developers can see what's available through the driver. The entire folder can be deleted without consequence... EDITED to remove incorrect statement about CUDA

Guys did someone had some weird problem with last driver...? My left side of monitor about 3cm was colorful and change colors constantly... Only when I enter in game, I tried 2-3 games and when I back on previous driver everything is normal. Maybe was something with EVGA Precision X but I doubt because now work... If that's driver problem than NVIDIA made first completely useless driver, like some amateur write that. We talk about our advantages in drivers we are maybe not even aware that Radeon improve more performance and write better driver at the moment than NVIDIA. I should make photo and post on forums to people see famous NVIDIA drivers...

Photos or it didn't happen :-p. I am out of country, actually way closer to you than normal, so I havent touched these drivers. Could you post pictures please? Also, did you try unplugging your monitor while installing like they said in an earlier post?

Oh, I misread.. it said left side of monitor.. I read "my left monitor ..." so, that was my fault. It was meant for multimonitor setups.

The "multi-monitor" issue must be a hit or miss thing. I installed the driver as I normally would with multiple monitors without any problems...

There is a lot of talk about this at Guru3D forums. nVidia is aware of the problem, has reproduced the issue, and is working on a fix.

We should buy NVIDIA only if performance difference is 30% than AMD, or Radeon owners with cheaper cards will catch us in next months. And off course changing drivers only first 10-12 months. After that NVIDIA don't want to improve performance and there are many rumors that they even slow down previous generation. :) Worse scenario is to our memory die or graphic chip after installation thanks to NVIDIA drivers. And there are rumors for that as well, only nothing confirmed.

That's one way to sell new video boards.
