Wow it's $60 more then Amazon. Even with tax and next day shipping amazons a better deal

I'm gonna use Ironegg on it.

IMHO - they won't do a price match unless the item is in stock and ready to ship. Quote from the "Iron egg" program description:

"Exclusions: The price matching Iron Egg Price Guarantee does not apply to:

1. Items not displaying the Iron Egg Price Guarantee badge at the time of your purchase.
2. Items you purchased on Newegg-affiliated websites.
3. A Competitor's item offered (a) for free or with rebate or coupon or promotional gift card/promotional credit, (b) as part of a bundled offer or financing offer, (c) as a clearance/closeout sale, or (d) for sale for less than 6 hours in a day.
4. A Competitor's item which is out of stock/not available for immediate shipment or which is offered in limited quantities.
5. A Competitor's item that is advertised below Newegg's actual cost.
6. A Competitor's item which is offered as open box or refurbished.
7. Add-on services such as extended warranty or installation.
8. Any item offered by Newegg or a Competitor which is subject to MAP pricing.
9. A Competitor's advertised Price which is the result of a typographical error.

Limitations: Only one price match per customer; only one price match per item."

Newegg gouging like always on high demand items. When you figure it used to be an Iron Egg item but they'd rather make there pay it's sad. Not as bad as the mining gouging they did.

Sadly even Nvidia may be out of stock directly. Luckily my card from Nvidia easily hits north of 1400 MHz and 8 GHz memory. Block comes today and I'll hopefully enjoy a custom bios with it also. Amazed by how smooth FarCry 4 is, Ultra graphics at 2560x1440p 144 Hz easily 80+ fps. The smoothness is insane in other games as well.

I will either find a way, or make one.

I still think Amazon was a better deal.
Regular retail price and Next day Shipping and tax comes to be little cheaper then Newegg.
I know its a preorder from Amazon but its not like Neweggs shipping is any faster.
All in all I don't see a difference.
Now I have 3

Anyone want one?

I finally got an order confirmation from Nvidia only after having them call and confirm with me that I did indeed order one, lol.

So here I am all excited to have my Titan X by GTAV release and then I receive another email from Nvidia. I assume it's the shipped/tracking email and get even more excited....

NOPE! "Dear ericc191, your item is currently back-orded and will be shipped at the earliest convenience. We do apologize..blah blah blah."  :(

I called them and they said I made the order after the card had already gone out of stock. Mine was still in my cart an hour later. Must be some kind of bug.

If you pay Newegg or Amazon sales taxes then B&H Photo is the better deal--for the reference Titan X at least ($1049.99); have one on preorder, estimate earliest ship date April 20 compared to Amazon's May 5 to 25; beats f5ing Newegg or EVGA.

B&H service is very good by my many years experience with them for camera and computer hardware, and for this card they save me about $32.50; their free shipping is faster than Amazon for me, although I will probably update shipping; even with 2 day shipping B&H is cheaper.
Have had nothing else to do while waiting except nitpick the costs and shipping down to the penny.

Uh oh, I'm getting mine on Tuesday. But the part number on the back sticker said "12G-P4-2992-KR" right? That's the SC part number. The reference card part number is 12G-P4-2990-KR. I'd check the clocks with Precision just to be sure.

I think you should verify clocks as well as part number in gpuz. Someone may have switched the sticker is all. Did you verify just with the sticker or through gpuz verification?

Something that worries me (and shouldn't.) I got EVGA's SC Titan X on stock cooler, and I've overclocked it an additional 100MHz on core and 200MHz on memory. Thing is, with the gpu's on full load (@1404MHz) it never reaches above 61 degrees C! I know that's a good thing, but when I read all reviews complaining about the card reaches 83-84 degrees, I start to get suspicious! Is my Precision X defective or something! Or does my card really operate at those temps at full load while overclocked! Anyone has the same experience?

You got a lucky buy. There have been a couple of people that have mentioned their low temperature on the forums. Just because it doesn't overheat or get as hot doesn't mean there is a problem. It just means you got lucky :-)

Just double-check it using GPU-Z by ALT-Tab'ing during gameplay or during Heaven benchmark.

Done. Never went above 61 degrees. Valley benchmark all max @ 1440p and 8x AA for 15 minutes. Gpu usage at 99-100% all the time and clocks are at 1403MHz. I should also mention that the fan profile is set to auto in precision X. It's not like i set it to 100% or something. I'm starting to get scared here!

One thing though. As soon as I enable "Windowed" mode, clocks drop to ~1355Mhz and temps shoot to 83-84 degrees! **** is going on here!

Some games will be different. Check your temps in Watch Dogs. Then you'll feel.. better? Hehe.

Also, it could be possible, some cards have a better TIM paste job than others. If you guys want to *try* and drop a few degrees, repaste it!

And I would not wait GM200 6GB, but TITAN X is very expensive.
I hope EVGA will launch card with highest clock but that depend lot of date.
Some brands will wait to EVGA launch Classified version only to give 10MHz more.
