Hi, I encounter little problem with 1080 FTW. Whether anyone else has rear fan making this kind of noise? Or am I first one? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D11vIfQd_6s

Sounds like normal fan noise doesn't it?

First restart after you stop it = strange noise - not sure it is from the GPU though. The second restart seems just FINE - why I question first restart noise as you move ? You may have to redo the video, stop moving around the other noises in back ground distract at the end. Crank those puppies to 80 % - let us hear them

That humming noise is coming others fans what are inside the case. That "striii" noise is coming that gpu fan which I has stop. Before stop there is that strii noise and also after this stop. I can heard that sound/noise clearly outside case when fans start spinning and also in that video when I little bit raise the volume. I made ticket for this case and Evga support recommend to gently push on the middle of the fan to make sure that is seated correctly but that didn't not helped. So now I am waiting if this is RMA situation. So maybe I am only one who has this kind of problem.

Yes, I heard the other fans & I had my Volume up full on my speakers & youtube Sometimes the "fins" of the ACX cooler can vibrate if there are some loose ones - resonance frequency thing If you adjust fan speed does it stop or get worse ?

I think that noise is almost same, maybe little bit louder but when fans are spinning 100% then this noise is little bit hard to heard but it is still there. Let see what Evga's support answer. Fan idle https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=41BLbrx36wU Fan test https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MeBk2sTPD6YFirst 20%, 50%, 100%, 80% and 0%

Talk to support, see what they think. I'm not hearing it in the newer video, maybe just too many years in the factory, maybe its my speakers. I could hear what sounded like a chair moving a couple of times. GL

I think I think i have the same issue aswell, its the front fan(one closest to the two 8 pin pcie power) It sounds like it has a flutter? and seems to be pushing less air then the back. youtube.com/watch?v=_OFhnkQpxwc

Yup. Almost same sound and also that start when fan is like hitting something. I made my RMA and now waiting approval.

How did you go with your RMA? I submitted one as the noise was annoying. Mines just gotten worse, it seems that my noise is caused by the 2nd fan not getting the same amount of power as the other. When the fans are set to Auto, and spinning lightly, the back one seems to only run about 70% of the time. I think because one is spinning slower then the other im getting the noise or it might be a motor issue. youtube.com/watch?v=RNAx67uDmGQ You can see it here how only one spins, the other fan trys and i can hear it twitching.

You need first make support ticket to Evga. Or directly make that Evga RMA. There you can choose you gpu in the list and make rma. Put those videos on that rma text because that helps. I started my process that first I make support ticket and asked is this is normal, then Evga response that if you press gently that may help but didn't. So then they response later my message that make Evga RMA and put all videot etc. on that and wait. Later that day I got mail where email subject was Has Been Approved by EVGA and how to make shipping etc. Make sure that you has registered your product and also uploaded invoice.

Got my replacement card from RMA, the fans are now silent :) Though I'm getting the same amount of coil whine still. I'll load some benchmarks overnight to try and settle it.
