Just ordered the last 2, before I miss the opportunity and have to wait a while, lol.  Looking forward to pairing these with the 5960x to see how they perform.

Yes, 3 980 K|ngp|n. I may have to pick up some more fittings, but this is the last of the things I order for quite some time. Time to start paying off the bills instead of adding to them, lol.

EKWB.com/shop the best place in the world to order ek parts from.

I know this isn't the place, but I will sir a brief grievance with performance... I have been looking for 16mm OD PETG tubing. Only one company makes it currently, and that is Monsoon. Performance is the main connection for US individuals ordering. Performance won't tell me when the order is supposed to arrive, but I contact monsoon and without asking them more than once, I have received a DAILY update from Monsoon as to when it will arrive at Performance. I ask performance if I can preorder, and they act like they don't know what I am talking about. I am looking St ordering a good amount of this stuff, and really need to know as much as possible. Monsoon is going above an beyond to make this happen.

This:

should come stock with this:

So it should look like this:

I love EK, but that Acetal Terminal looks horrible on a plexi block.. Also, Plexi blocks are sold out and Acetal blocks are in limited quantity.

Don't buy it from PPCS if your getting multiple blocks. They are asking for 162 + plus shipping which is another 15 or so. It's like 122 USD before shipping from EK. A 40 dollar mark up that's more than the shipping cost from EK direct of 33 dollars for a single block ( of course you can fit a few more items at this price too). Frozen cpu had better prices and service was insanely quick. PPCS service is hit or miss, my in-stock item sat 3 full business days before shipping on two occasions. Unfortunately we don't have much choices these days for some things these days. On a offnote I just recieved some EK compression fittings that I picked up, and I am dissapointed. Everything EK I own from rads, res, pump tops, blocks feel premium and top notch, yet these compression fittings feel like trash. Guess I am spoiled by bitspower and enzotech fittings. I thought the swiftech compression felt cheapish but these ek ones are even worse. I ordered some adapater fittings as well with my blocks, I hope they are better made. The barrow "non branded bp" fittings are similar price and are constructed way better than these ek ones sigh.

From EK Direct (Sent payment through PayPal) after shipping:

Single Block Purchase:

Conversion from: -$164.37 USD Conversion to: €150.02 EUR

Two Block Purchase:

Conversion from: -$300.56 USD Conversion to: €272.04 EUR

Shipping buying all three would have been $12 USD cheaper or so.

To top it off from P-PCS, the current option is to "Pre-Order" so you will have to wait for them to get them in before they ship.

I am going with Monsoon Fittings for most of this build, and there are some bitspower fittings as well.  My 780ti Classies will be adopting all of the EK fittings.  The EK fittings definitely do not feel as sturdy as some of the ones I have had my hands on.

with Paypal conversion fees it came out to 362.50 cents or so.

My Exact Same cart at PPC with their 5.5% discount

Yea no thanks ppcs.

I might as well open my own EK store buying without distributor or reseller discount lol. 28 bucks to ship that 3 day usps (along the east coast btw. It cost me that much to ship a 30lb box along the east coast with UPS INSURED!)what a joke!

I bet those prices above would be lower if frozen was open....I dont understand why the market in the US is in the state it is in. One store goes out and the whole country is affected? I got the blocks through EK same as you guys but i was referring to other water cooling supplies. Scarlet-Tech...I am surprised you were actually able to speak with someone at performance let alone get any help! Water cooling seems to be on the rise again and yet we do not have a reliable e-tailer to buy from in the US. Pathetic imo.

Well I think frozencpu was taking the bulk of the watercooling us business. We need some other place to step up, but it's a such a niche market. I have always been able to get someone on the phone @ ppcs and they do respond to my emails. However, helpfulness is a whole other story. 3 years ago I made a few orders from ppcs and it was MUCH better than recently. Infact yesterday I emailed PPCS about the ek blocks and I got we will check and nothing after, and today they go up for preorder lol. There are a few retailers picking up EK stuff like NCIX, I hope other bigger retailers follow suite. These small operation places just can't seem to handle it well, at least not like Frozencpu did.

Performance always had higher prices. I don't really care to deal with them often, especially after purchasing 780ti backplates and it showed 4 in stock (ek backplates) and when I ordered, they called 2 days later to tell me they only had 2 in stock although 4 showed available.

Paying extra for service is worth it, but this isn't even the case with ppcs. With frozen down they really have a chance to step up and gain lots of permanent customers. Too bad they don't see it that way.

Gonna take the day off tmr lol. Don't wanna miss the DHL shipment. I honestly thought I wasn't going to see these blocks till next week when I noticed it didn't ship the next day. I am still skeptical of the 1 day thing....

Dear Europeans EVGA GTX980 K|NGP|N Classified cost 910e in EVGA EU.
Europe Wake UP and give them only same money as dollars.
910e for GM204, even it's not fastest on market. Fastest from ASUS cost 780-790e I don't know, Anniversary Edition.
I imagine someone who pay 150e less than NVIDIA TITAN X for GTX980 K|NGP|N Classified. Jesus. That's worse than R9-290X instead of GTX980.

My package from EVGA before several months arrived day after they sent.
I talk that to people in Serbia who wait 30-40 days on warranty that I would like more RMA with EVGA than something in Serbia.
We are disaster. But EVGA is good because nicely mark package and custom than have no right to ask fee or tax.
Maybe some other brand forgot and send only package without number, value, etc and that's not good for customers.

I actually opted for the regular shipping too.  This is package 1 of 2, since I ordered all of the blocks and terminals over two orders.

I have to test all of the GPU's before I start installing waterblocks, just to see how they perform on air, and then this weekend, pictures with the blocks install will be put up.

Yeah some clocks and  voltages on air before you put them under water would be great.

I am Getting 80 FPS in Arma 3, 2560x1440 on all ultra settings.. Let me start by saying I am frustrated, and trying to figure out an issue.. Card 1 is recognized, but card 2 and 3 are not.  Just have to trouble shoot that out.

I am extremely impressed with the ROG Swift, although I can see a minuscule flicker occasionally.  More updates asap, of course.  Just need to figure out WHY card 2 and 3 are not recognized.

Yes, I have it on carpet.. can't help that.  I ground before touching anything.  The fan on the GPU's is to move the heat.  You can see that Card 1 is in RGB, while 2 and 3 are not accepting lighting changes.

*update8 It was the bios settings.  Updated those and Bam, Here we go: Validation

Re: Does the GTX 980 KINGPIn have a compatible waterblock??? 2015/04/24 16:05:51 (permalink)
Guys I have a huge problem. Both of my blocks don't fit the card. The pins by the I/O end prevent the block from sitting flat onto the card. Either the block portion will need to sanded. Please let me know if you have same problem.
