I would also Disabled the M.2 Ports being that you are not using them and the U.2 Port.
You can also Disable the ASMedia SATA 6.0Gbps Ports, you should be using the Native SATA 6.0Gbps Ports.
If you are not using the USB Headers on the Motherboard you can disable them.

i'll post some screen shots.

I haven't overclocked the memory yet.  For my purpose, theres really no need.   But go over to the OClab portion of the forum and Kingpins writeup will tell you how to do it.

Re: z390 dark bios setting 2019/02/25 05:29:39 (permalink)
why would you get the godlike or even dark if you are running your memory at stock speeds and looking only for 5ghz? any 100$ usd board would do that too.

put vcore override in, -25% vdrop, set it to 1.25v and bench, stable? go to 1.24 and bench again, stable? put it to 1.23 and bench again, unstable? then you know your vcore.

12900k - asus z690 APEX - 32gb 6400 cl30
3090 FE - phanteks 719 - corsair ax1600i
dual mora3 420 - 2x d5, 2x ddc - samsung neo g9 49" 240hz - 2x 27" 120hz

I think you already asked me that and again,  It's none of your concern why.

I would be included in that category. I already knew how great my X-79 Dark was for 5+ years so when I saw the announcement for the Z390 Dark I was definitely going to hold out for it - and very glad I did.
