Update:
So I went ahead and bought the Xigamtek Porter for my X58 Micro SLI. I bought it to replace the Thermalright HR-05 SLI/IFX because it was blocking the first PCI-E slot. So to answer my own question, yes the Porter fits on the X58 Micro SLI. It has to be installed a bit slanted however due to the alignment of the screw holes. Temperature wise, HDT dropped the temps by an additional 1-2c compared to my HR-05 SLI/IFX. Northbridge is now idling at around 38c and load at around 45c-50c w/40mm fan blowing at the base. Here are pictures of the Porter on my board. So the Porter is another alternative to the HR-05 for EVGA X58 board owners.
