weirdest problem i cant even google!!!!

So one evening i was updating my steam library and it was going to take awhile so i left it over night to do its thing.  When morning rolls around i went back and the monitor is off....... #@@$%(&*^&(#*Q WINDOWS i told you to stay on!!!! hitting keys doesn't wake it up so i hit the reset button.  Now i am greeted to the normal post beep then the one long and three short beeps then on to normal boot but there is still no display!!! Im at a loss and cannot figure this out.  ive tried a different gpu and everything is posts and boot normal.  i tried a different power supply and same issue all the port on the back of the 2080 still nothing.  i understand my gpu is the problem but why is the motherboard saying we dont need no stinking gpu and boot anyway? i dont have integrated graphics on the board or cpu. PC specs

ram 64gb gskill trident z 3200
gpu 2080 super hydrocopper
samsung 980 m.2 boot drive
power 1000w evga g3

    Sounds like she's dead.
    That beep code means no gpu detected. If it works with another gpu, and reseating the GPU and cables makes no difference, it's probably dead.
    If it has a warranty, contact EVGA.
