Hello Everyone.
Suddenly my USB 3 internal header stopped working causing front panel USB ports to stop. Rear panel USB 3 ports work fine as well as the front USB 2 ports. I have a flash drive plugged into the front hub at bootup for observation purposes. Motherboard USB 3 header works fine until windows 10 loads then it shuts off. Device manager shows "unknown usb device (port reset failed)" with an exclamation point of course. Yes; I have searched for threads here and googled it. No; removing the usb drivers and letting windows 10 find them again does not work (that also cause me to lose the keyboard and mouse!). No; going to the power management tab of the root hubs and unchecking the box for shutting down USB to save power does not work either. As usual there is not going to be anything wrong with hardware (just to make sure I replaced the front hub) - it is a stupid windows 10 update or something again? I wish I could have kept Windows 7 but Kaby Lake.............
