hey all. so i bought a 11G-P4-2489-KR second hand off reddit hardwareswap. he was the original owner. he bought it new from amazon.com. i just noticed from reading all the FAQ about transferable warranty, shipped from evga was mentioned offten. so does this mean that transferable warranty is only elegelble for products bought direct from evga.com ???  the seller said it was bought new from amazon.com and was registered here.  I just want to be sure that im covered just in case this 2080 ti was one of the inital batches that had the artifact issues

All you have to do is register the card here on evga in your name and upload your invoice if you received one, if you paid via paypal just upload a copy of your paypal transaction if no invoice. In the options of where you bought it just check other and put in the sellers name/heatware. After its registered go into the details of your card and it will show the remaining time on the cards warranty if there is one or it will say out of warranty.

Hello

We base second hand warranty from the date we shipped to a retailer. If you have a paypal invoice (which it sounds like you should) that would be the invoice of purchase which you can uploaded once its registered. You can always send us the serial to give you the full warranty details.

The exact date he got it won't matter, the warranty for you will go from the day evga shipped it from the factory. Sounds like you got it registered so you should be able to see how much time is left on warranty by clicking details tab of the item.
