EVGA GTX 770 incompatible with Intel P55 board?

Hi,
 
I have an Intel DP55SB motherboard and I am trying to get it work with the EVGA GTX 770. I am getting the same issues as the person in this post with the EVGA GTX 780 and Intel boards: m=1944075
 
I know there is a firmware update for the 780. Can someone look into a firmware update for the 770?

I updated my Intel DP55SB BIOS to latest - KGIBX10J.86A and there is no improvement. The computer is showing the BIOS splash screen, but I am unable to go into the BIOS settings and eventually it goes to a black screen.

Any suggestions would be helpful. But I think it comes down to the card being incompatible with the motherboard.

    It also depends upon the motherboard BIOs. You need to make sure that is up to date first.

    I'm seeing the same thing - on an Intel DZ68DB board.  BIOS is up-to-date on the motherboard.  I verified the card is good by installing it on a 780i motherboard.  I currently have a GTX 570 on the DZ68DB.  
     
    I talked with EVGA support, they said they were going to get an updated firmware for me - if I get ahold of it I will let folks know.

    Yea Let us know, I did thread with current known boards having issues with the 770 here and will update them if I see known fixes on them

    rtcurtis, did you ever get your 770 card to work with the Intel mobo you have listed ? If so did you acquire the latest bios for the 770 from the support team ?

    Jacob sent me a PM over at one of the other forums & " For all you present EVGA GTX 770 owners that have the initial launch Bios 80.04.B4.00.70 " he stated the latest Bios revision number will be  "   80.04.C3.XX  " for the 770 EVGA manufactured cards. 
      
    So i would assume any folks encountering any compatibilty issues can contact EVGA support and be sent the latest Bios to hopefully resolve any motherboard problems. 
      
    I can finally now order one of these EVGA 770 cards with confidence since i happen to be one of the unfortunate owners of the Intel DEZ68BC Mobo.

    thats great news silverfox, that should mean the 4Gb GTX 770 FTW ACX cards will have the latest bios too when they release. The card I'm getting
