Version v1.1.0.0
Release: 3/12/13
  • New GUI Interface

The EVGA LED Controller application for EVGA GeForce GTX TITAN and GTX 690 is available now! You can download it here.

Here is a brief overview on how it works. When I start the application I will see the below:

The first selector at the top left lets me select the card logo I want to adjust. The selection directly below that lets me select various different options. IMPORTANT NOTE: Anything other than manual control REQUIRES EVGA Precision X to be running in the background! For FPS Monitoring make sure that you have FPS monitoring enabled in EVGA Precision X.

Lets select GPU Utilization. When EVGA Precision X is also running in the background (or minimized to system tray) the LED on my EVGA GTX TITAN or GTX 690 will automatically adjust based on the GPU Utilization. In the below image I am running EVGA OC Scanner X to increase my GPU utilization to 94%, thus the illumination on my EVGA GTX 690 logo is set accordingly. When I close EVGA OC Scanner X, the LED turns off.

Lastly, the apply at startup will ensure that my custom LED settings will always apply on Windows boot!

Taking any requests? How about a "wave" function between two 690s.  One goes up, one goes down.

Basically like the breathing, but with the timing set different on the two.

    +1 for the above option.

Was rather hoping that "breathing" would work alternately with 2 cards fitted, rather than being in sync.  Would be fairly easy to do this I would assume?

    Gtx 690 Works great!
Gtx 680 HC 0 (Zero) response
GTX 690 HC should work, I am guessing its the same board just an HC block on top with same connecting point.

I have Dual 690's and the LED has never turned on the second one.  I chalked it up to needing to install the drivers once windows was running, but alas no go.   Using this utility doesn't turn it on, (only one card shows in the top drop down box but I'm not sure if there is supposed to be two).  Could I have a defective LED?

Installed this and it causes my Win7 Ultimate 64bit to always reboot after finishing the windows logo thing the first time it tries to boot. The next attempt to boot works fine. If I reset the computer I have to go through this whole process again. Any ideas as to why?

I remove the software and still have the same problem. So to verify for sure this software is the cause of my new booting problem I reinstalled Win7 (clean install) and only installed video drivers. Shut down computer and restarted. Booted fine. Installed LED controller. Shutdown computer and restarted. Back to boot problem.

Would really love to know how to remove the software left behind by the deinstaller so I can totally remove this and get my 'old' system back to normal.

    EDIT:

For s's and grins I decided to update the motherboard BIOS in my Crosshair V motherboard. It was running 0404 and I upgraded to 1402. I'm happy to say that the problem went away! Now I don't know exactly why updating the BIOS would do this?

Whoops, thanks :). It would be nice to have a 790, but it seemed so extravagant to have bleeding edge hardware brought back from the future.
