Answered"HELP" - Clicking noise coming from the PSU

 Hello. I have built my first computer and I am experiencing clicks coming from the PSU as well as a weird start up I guess. I have a EVGA SuperNOVA 650 G2 power supply. This is what happens when I press the power on button on my computer case: 
1. The system powers on 
2. After 1 second it shuts off
3. After 2 seconds it powers back on while the PSU makes a click 
4. After this the computer works as it should
 
The click also happens when I power the system off. It is just one single click at the startup and when I power off the computer, and it sounds like it is coming from the PSU. 
Since this is my first ever "tower" computer and before I was using a laptop I don't know if this is a problem or not. Please help.

    Welcome to the forums Toilips.
     
    You can start to troubleshoot this issue by removing all the cables and reseating them again and/or try a different AC cable/outlet.
     
     
    One of the issues could be that the motherboard is not grounded correctly, meaning that it's making contact with a metal surface or object, like a screw. This step can be tidus but you will have to remove the motherboard from the case and place it outside on top of a non conductive surface like cardboard or an anti-static bag/hard plastic surface and see how it behaves.

    Hello. Thank you for your comment but I already have resolved the issue. It had to do something with the 8pin CPU cable. I tried different things like checking if the CPU is okay and stuff, and making sure the cables were properly plugged in. I do not know why but after 4th reseat of the 8pin CPU cable it does not do the weird startup anymore.
