I got this error when I installed Evga Precision. "Failed to initialize display driver wrapper!" and I don't know what to do!
I freshly installed it on my Windows 7 and I keep getting this error, even after I reinstall and restart.
Anyone have any idea what this means?

I don't understand why I keep getting "Failed to initialize display driver wrapper!".
Install driver properly. The message tells that nvapi.dll is not installed or not funcitoning properly.
Uninstall and reinstall your video card driver.

yeah im having the same problem here. im using a p55v and a gt240 gpu.
this is probably a newb question but where can i can the latest drivers for this card and what exactly is it?
last time I tried updating my mobo I got the wrong bios and ended up having to exchange it for a new mobo at compusa so im all paranoid about updating anything now.

I´ve done some testings and found out the PROBLEM is with the EVGA Precision v 2.0.0 and 2.0.1, not with your drivers. So, just download v 1.9.6. it should be working....

Ive got the same problem. I redownloaded the drivers for my AMD5850, and I still get the same message when restarting Precision. Any other ideas beside going back to an earlier version?

The error message basically means that a driver compatibility issue was encountered. EVGA Precision does not support ATI/AMD graphics cards, so that error message is normal. Try using MSI Afterburner instead.

I don't completely agree. I used EVGA Precision for my ATI HD 5870 without a problem first. But I reinstalled Windows 7 and now I get this error too!

I discovered that I have updated the drives but the program keeps saying "Failed to initialize display driver wrapper!"
