Folks are programming counter bots to artificially inflate the eBay price so the listings get taken down.. I'd assume no one is paying more than $1,500 for those on there... Still $800 too much.

It means savvy buyers will now ask for a picture of the back of the GPU to see what capacitors are on it. If it's the bad batch, ask for a lower price. Scalpers now gotta RMA or send back the card. Scalpers gonna think twice on this the next time they wanna flip a gpu.

I re-read the EVGA response for XC3's and seems like 5-10 capacitor combination works as long as you don't OC, which I'm sure many will want to do anyway. FTW3's however will be getting the 4-20 combination, which is good. I want the FTW3 ultra edition. Maybe EVGA will also change out the XC3's to match the capacitor combination of FTW3?
